in domestic violence you do not hear Dr. Rosenberg while in the vents those are the marines talking, I understand your confusion however because the voice of Dr. Rosenberg was done by Jon St. John who also voiced the marines. fun fact Jon St. John is also the voice of Duke Nukem
the cut level you mentioned theres actually three cut levels that are documented on the combine overwiki yopu shoud lcheck them out! it incldues saving gordon in the trash ocmpactor too
Decay is my second favorite Half-Life expansion next to Opposing Force and though its pretty jank it generally means a lot to me. I got the Half-Life PS2 port for my 17th birthday a couple years ago and I remember having a blast exploring new areas of black mesa while playing the co-op with my dad, but also playing it singleplayer is pretty interesting and challenging too. The characters of Decay are great, like Rosenberg and Keller are some of my favorites of the whole series and I wish we saw more of them, and I really hope Valve (or even more fans, really) do something with Colette as there is a lot of potential with her. Great video, I like your editing style and I plan on watching more of your stuff after this.
Fond memories of this one, I also played HL on the PS2 for the first time and I'd always assumed that 'Decay' was just part of the game! I remember my mate kept killing the wheelchair dude so it took us ages to progress, then getting so lost in the bit with the swimming pool. You could also play it solo on PS2 by pressing Select to swap between the two characters..
It's basically the same but the puzzles are modified so that a solo player can complete them, it's been a while since I've played the demo but I'm pretty sure those are the only major changes. Also just checked, the full version isn't out yet, just the demo. It's on Steam though if you want to follow it.
I wouldn’t really put it like that, not that I’m trying to say it’s perfect but it’s far from “Bad fan fiction”, it gives a bit more background to Rosenberg and Gina, has another new named character who acts as an opposite to Rosenberg, trying to fix the mess instead of escaping, and creates unique partner who bounces off Gina’s stern and serious tone by instead being more aggressive and psychotic. It’s not incredible, but I wouldn’t call it the worst of half life… HDTF is where “bad fan fiction” belongs

You're going places
What I still don’t understand is how is Brenner in a wheelchair and then in hl2 he is fine walking
The idea that the resonance cascade took place on May 14th was pretty much retconned by the second game’s fanbase alone.
this is a very good video, thanks! wish you much success
18:36 you killed him before half life 2 ep 2🤣
The Resonance Cascade wasnt in May it was in December.
Isn’t the guy in the wheelchair the one in Half life 2 Dr Brenner?
Does PC 007 Nightfire count as a Half-Life expansion?
is decay solo mission same as ps2 version and is solo mission full or its still unfinished??(demo)

Decay was bad fanfiction.

Half Life decay is good canon fiction actually ☝️🤓
