I talk about how once I stopped doing the one year thing I saw more growth and then lost my train of thought, which kinda makes it seem like it isn't something you should do. Where I was going with that is that uploading once a week for a year gave me the tools and skills to have that more explosive growth in the first place. That would not have been possible if I hadn't already put in the reps

5 months ago I returned to faith, 4 months ago I started journaling, 3 months ago I started new work and removed some bad habit of mine, 2 months ago I got into tracking food I eat and doing Duolingo (not anything new, but revising English xd), 1 months ago I reached out to people (old and new friends) and started working out. Last month was not very special, but maintaining and improving in the general as well.
Atomic Habits is good book BTW if anyone looks for a way to change their life. And some faith or something might help as well (at least did great for me).
I have multiple streaks I keep alive. Sometimes I fail and it sucks, but I just start new one, or make excuse so I can later look at 90 days streak but asterisk: with 1 day off due to bad day. My journal has multiple columns with checkboxes, some easier some harder. Month by month, week by week even you can improve stuff.

Loving this series so far. Hopefully I'll be able apply all of this to my personal life. Hardest thing about streaks is starting one, especially after you broke one before. Duolingo taught me this the hard way.

Urm that was really cool. About 20 years ago I got the just start mentality straight. And it took a while but great things happened. And yes the streak thing goes with that.
