He really was another thing in that season, for me one of the best players in the world at that moment, then he wasn't professional enough at Bayern, then he had a health problem with metabolism and before he realized he messed up his career, of a player that could have been a big thing...
What a unfufilling career, or rather what was expected from him. But if i'm being asked, a goal that brings his country the tittle of world champions makes it up for it. :)

Pep guardiola destroyed him...at 20 he had won 2 bundesligas and was considered German Messi....but guardiola is just like that.....he is a great coach no doubt....but for some players he is just disgusting. I remember what he did with Samuel eto....he just sold him straight away to Inter to get Zlatan....that same year Eto won treble with Inter...and we all know what happened to Zlatan at Barcelona.
I mean let's also not ignore that he had a serious injury which affected his career, that is more responsible. Also, his time at Bayern wasn't even that bad, I don't like defending pep either, but you can't put all the blame on him
