I’m a suns fan, so it’s hard to say. But I’m happy spurs got victor w. Pop and Duncan are the perfect coaches to get the very best out that 7’6” monster. Dude is going to be fun to watch.
Duncan never showed his emotions during the highs and because of that, you never knew when he was going through and lows. Watching him was truly a master class in psychology warfare.
As a laker fan I can say I hated him with a passion. He was so great all I remember he would never miss a shot. He was so subtle with his moves Whether it was his hook shot or that crazy bank shot from all over the back board that looked like it would never go in but did. Dude was a silent killer.
Not a fan of any NBA team, but since started watching the NBA in '05, I can say that Timmy is the best basketball player since 2005 career wise. Even in his 38 to 40's he was still effective in playing the Center position and defended the paint really well. Just extraordinary.
I couldn't stand the Spurs yet couldn't but help have tremendous respect for Duncan and Ginobli (and earlier for David Robinson). Great players. Great guys. But Duncan was just a silent assassin. No flash. But destroying you everywhere. Offense. Defense. Boards. And you could musically score a typical Duncan entire performance to Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata. Quiet and lyrical, but somehow intense. Efficient. Perfect decision-making. Superb footwork. Always in the right place at the right time. Silent leader who communicated to his teammates, the other team and the refs with just his eyes. He channeled Bill Rusell. He was the John Stockton of big men.
Was at a movie theater and in line to buy ticket Tim was right behind me, they were sold out and he said I bet I get to the next theater before you and the race was on. He won and waived at me in the theater! SO cool!!!
Given that his opponents are trying to elicit a reaction from him, he remained calm and collected so that no energy is wasted by clapping back and let his game do the talking instead. Tim is such a sensational basketball player that doesn't need to trash talk or be flashy.
Had the pleasure to watch David Robinson and Tim Duncan play. They have me almost 20 years of being excited every season with the reality of winning a NBA championship. Thats rare for a team to be a threat to win a NBA championship for almost 20 years. Now we got Wemby. Whooo hoooo!! 😊
It’s a mental thing, you have to just condition your mind that whatever they are trying to say to you won’t change who you are and they are only trying to distract you, trash talking would not affect me because I am not moved by what people says
Tim Duncan is my all time favorite player for this very reason and also because I've been a Spurs fan since I started watching basketball as a kid over 20 years ago.

He’s not more underated than Moses Malone
@@BigDan21. he’s underated because he easily had a convo for being in atleast the top 5 but he never gets that type of appreciation. Him and Kobe have nearly the same resume but Kobe is unanimously placed in the top 5 by most of his fans and then whenever u mention Duncan as in the same convo as his top 10 peers who always get mentioned for top 5 consideration, he’s always the odd man out. It’s always, oh but Kobe was better to watch. Oh but he’s not better than bird, or Hakeem, or shaq. The vast majority of discussions jist mention his name, say ehh he’s somewhere 8-10, and then we skip over him to sing the other stars praises. For whatever reason he isn’t looked at as a dominant player. They treat him like he was just a very good player who had a lot of good luck while everyone else were dominant and better individual talents. Everyone respects his resume and his intangibles. It’s his game that is misrepresented all too much. With Kobe, jordan, bird, shaq, bron, it’s OH THEYRE THE GREATEST AT WHAT THEY DO, they the MOST DOMINANT this and that. With Timmy, it’s yeah he was great, and that’s it.

Tim Duncan always been my dude I use the same approach against haters I let them talk trash I stay quiet & get the job done then talk to them like nothing ever happened 😂that really pisses them off
The most reliable big man ever. Used to hate him because of being a pistons fan. But man he’s become one of my favorite players of all time, he’d be my first pick of big men because how complete home is in all aspects of his game and character. 💯
Booo hooo sheed got teched out the game like a dumbass
Facts
In his last season he was still one of the best rim protectors in the league if not the best.
SO cool!!!
Bro this was done so well. I was thinking wheres he going with this edit...ohh thats dope. Great job dude
Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed!
Given that his opponents are trying to elicit a reaction from him, he remained calm and collected so that no energy is wasted by clapping back and let his game do the talking instead.
Tim is such a sensational basketball player that doesn't need to trash talk or be flashy.
One of a kind. Miss this dude. I hope Wemby takes after him in terms of oncourt demeanor.
who's here because they miss timmy?
Man😢
I miss the golden age of the PF .
His nickname said it all. The Big Fundamental just went out and dominated every single game.
That smile @ 5:37 made my skin crawl 😂😂😂😂
It’s a mental thing, you have to just condition your mind that whatever they are trying to say to you won’t change who you are and they are only trying to distract you, trash talking would not affect me because I am not moved by what people says
Tim Duncan is my all time favorite player for this very reason and also because I've been a Spurs fan since I started watching basketball as a kid over 20 years ago.
Tim Duncan was just picked up as a player development coach for Victor Wembanyama by the Spurs. Someone in Dallas needs to send this video to Luka
One of my all time favorite athletes! He is THE example of a true role model. On and off the court, this man stands out!
Put it this way… You remember that time that he got in trouble off the court?
Yeah, me either 😅 ….
“I don’t wanna hear no top 5 without Tim Duncan in it.” 😭
Was a big KG fan so I hard trouble appreciating how good Timmy was early on. Def one of the 🐐and a classy guy.
