Driving to this song at 4 am headed to work just gets you in the mood to own the day. And whatever life throws at you is fine because you know that you will destroy it.
It’s not often you heard a Who track with Townsend on the vocals, but when he stepped up. You knew he was gonna blow you away. The greatest band to come out of West London. No questions asked, no quarter given.
Fans of this: i fish offshore here in South Florida 2-3 nights/week. I was a teen watching Miami Vice and heard this Season 3, Episode 1. Thought it was Phil Collins, but realized quickly it was another group. Figured it out and it has been the first song of the playlist for 30 years. This version has replaced the old one and gets us in the mood ro settle down and focus on the snapper, grouper, getting the chum right, loosening the beer from the ice, all business, rewind tune/restart, crack a beer open, smoke something and let Entwhistle beat the fish onto our hooks with the exquisite bass play. I feel odd if I dont start ANY adventure without playing this top shelf work of art! TY OP!
See that's part of what it means when people say they don't write them like they used to.
