Great job with the commentary. We used to go to the wood boat show at Excelsior on lake Minnetonka. Good times. What craftsmanship. Thanks for showing it in detail.

Matt some beautiful wood boats. Those Garr boats are long. Just like a Garr Fish. And the Chris Crafts are just pure sweet. Love the sound of the inboard engines. I had two boats that would be classics. Had a Glasspar G-3 speed boat. With a 115 mercury outboard. Then a Chrysler Sports Satellite tri hull. With 70 Johnson stinger engine. All these toys you wish you kept. Don’t have a clue where I would keep them all at this point. The beauty of getting old o guess. Just reliving the dream. Your job on the boat shows are as good as the classic cars. Certainly appreciate all you do. Still waiting to see a wooden WW2 PT boat. Thank you Matt. 💯👍👊

Nice to see a Greavette “Streamliner” at the show.
Pronounced “Gre-vette”. Greavette boats were built in Gravenhurst, Ontario Canada by Tom Greavette on Lake Muskoka near the Muskoka Wharf.
Tom previously worked with Herb Ditchburn of Ditchburn Boats.

Thank you SO much: God Bless. I really really enjoyed the smaller or weirder/more vintage-versus-classic vessels near the end of your production, man. Gorgeous boats! I’m still surprised there are no wooden Thompson or Pen-Yan boats: they’re gorgeous, too, in their own way

Thanks very much for capturing the great and clear audio of each of these classic and vintage woodies at many of the annual shows -- from Hessel and Bar Harbor, and beyond!

Thank You, Matt! Have had some health issues lately, but normally I take a walk around my local harbor in Dana Point, California, and watch the big fiberglass buckets. These wooden beauties, and a handful of classic fiberglass boats, sure are a more glorious sight to behold. I was astonished to see the impressive number of boats that showed, almost like The Annual Concours d'Elegance in Lake Tahoe. Wish You A Wonderful Holiday Weekend, Matt.

Hi Matt, ... Believe the Canadian built woody "Greavette" is pronounced "Gray (like the color)" -- "Vette (like the two seat Chevrolet 😉)" -- wonderful boat show video from Gull Lake, MN, like all your others!

I love your videos . My great grandfather started Capital Gears the designed gearboxes to convert those aircraft engines to marine use . In the early days it was called Auto Engine Works In St. Paul . You’ll see the plate on the top has “The Capital “ on it. Thanks again for your videos .
