I have the mil whip version and its just so quick to put up & take dowm. Tunings a breeze with an 818 and using just 1w I've worked most of the world. Its just a fantastic piece of kit that simply works.
It is a cracking little antenna. I was out last weekend for the Activate your Park weekend. Like you conditions were not great, but still managed a fair amount of contacts, with 2 contacts in VK, one a WWff, the other a POTA. Not bad for 15w from the G90. Looking to the comparison test. Thanks for a great vid, 73
I have the old green whip but bought that one you have and it's a great upgrade, feels really solid and don't need to remember the right order to do the sections so that you don't break the shock cord. I requested the colours I wanted for coil and winders. I also go some extra radial / winder sets to go with other antennas as I thought they were great value with the nice 3d printed ends etc. Really nice system overall. Feels quality.
Thanks, Jonathan, for yet another BRILLIANT video. I'm looking forward to your comparisons video of this antenna with the MP1 Super. I have 2 Super Antenna MP1 kits, which have slightly different fittings. It was actually You who served me in ml&s when I bought my 1st kit, lol. The 2nd Super Antenna MP1 kit that I bought was the more complex kit that included the big fancy tripod. It's just a pity that the 2 kits are not fully compatible with each other, fittings wise. The sad thing is, I have still not put either kit together yet, et alone tested either o e of them. Kind regards, Ray, M0RAY, North Mid Kent.
Interesting antenna especially the screw in sections for back packing etc..unsure why but i thought i was subscribed to your channel but it was probably down to seeing you on everyone else’s feeds so have a subscribe.
This is a brilliant antenna. It's my go to antenna for mounting on my van roof when parked up for a quick activation. Only last week I worked a vk with it using 20watts from my xiegu g90 on 20 meters. Carnt recommend it enough. M7dqo.
@@M0JSX thanks for checking and a prompt reply, ive looked at these designs and its interesting… it appears if the coil is being used as an inductance coil the DC base connection isn’t required, if the coil is being used as an autotransformer then the base connection is required obviously. Thanks again M0KTY

Speed of deployment and take down is a big factor here in the UK when it’s often cold and raining ☔️!

@@Tantalicdavid I am based in the UK buddy.
Mine has a blue coil and green radial winder.

Ive just ordered one today in the new 'camo' edition its great to read all the positive reviews especially for a new Ham looking to get some contacts
Hi, just out of interest… is there a dc connection between the bottom of the coil and the centre of the base socket?
Hello. Just checked and yes there is (I removed the collar to ensure this wasn't acting as the DC path).

Good evening Jonathan
Thank you sir for the review. Much appreciated. Do they ship to the US?
As far as I know, yes!
RigExpert makes tuning a breeze!
My Comet Mark II would probably make tuning a breeze as well.
@@MrTommy001 for sure
How much is your cut for advertising?
Zero. The antenna was supplied to me for review (as stated in the video). The link in the description is NOT an affiliate link.
Great video. 2E0FRU-CHRIS
