Anton is brilliant but can be intimidating.
Years ago, i went to see BJM at the Paradise & ran into him coming out
of the club's restroom.
I was about to say something, but he shot me a look that said: Not now, dude.
It was pre-show, so i'm sure he didn't need to be bothered.
Interviewing him seems more like a nice laid back chat. I could listen to this man talk about the price of corn in Nebraska.
he could probably write a song about it eh?
Certainly a beacon for artists and fans of art. Anton is constantly perfecting the now. This tour was a shining example of hard work, talent and a focused headspace-best shows I've seen. Boston was incredible and then I flew to LA, landed and immediately drove to the Belly Up for an outstanding show. Chatted with the rhythm section at a bar across from the venue post gig. Couldn't have been nicer.
