Clone wars is awesome. This comes from a fan that got to watch the original in a movie theater at midnight alone at the age of 7 a moment at the time I did not appreciate but as the years have passed it has turned into a core memory. The Yoda episode is fantastic.
Not really there is also shows which excels with the movie itself because it was that interesting

Great video! Awesome recap. I dislike one thing about this arc in that the woman knew Anakin became Vader. It cheapens the impact of Vader being Luke’s father even though this is after the revelation in Empire.
It's full of Feminist BS! It's full of Feminist BS! Like they didn't even use Ahsoka, Anakin's own padawan for the revelation! Apparently any random Female Jedi or Ex-Jedi is fine! Like seriously!
Only problem with the comic itself is that Luke got his cybernetic hand immediately, there wasn’t a moment when he was just fucking around without it
Hey! I actually skipped ahead just for the sake of pacing. I believe he has no hand for at least 1 issue of the comic. There’s a scene of him trying to use the gunner in the Falcon with one hand and struggling, in the first issue.
The scene of Lando coming to talk to him is either from the second or third issue.

Lol yeah he has one hand for a bit and then there’s a scene of Leia convincing him to get a cybernetic one. I have the digital volume version of the comic where it’s the first 6 issues, so I don’t really remember how long it is until he gets the cybernetic one

The jedi are the most shady mfers. Anytime anything actually important needs to be communicated they leave you on read. Especially luke.

Star Wars sucks so bad now. This story arc is total garbage. The legends stuff was so much better than this. Star Wars used to be my favorite thing on the planet, and now I hate it more than getting a root canal.

I will stick with my answer as he didn’t have a lightsaber until he was on Tatooine and constructed his next saber.
It is obvious in empire strikes back as they fixed him on the frigate right after the scene on bespin.
The comics are fun and enjoyable but this one doesn’t feel right in the timeline.
Maybe in an alternate timeline it will work but then they would have to have skip retreating to the frigate once escaping cloud city.
Having Luke bounce all around the place in a years time contemplating if he is no longer worthy just doesn’t feel like Luke skywalker.
