    I recently went to CDMX to the pirámides and this set up worked amazingly. Thanks for making this video!
    My setup was the v2 pouch with the slimmer strap, x100v and a Insta360 go2 attached to the camera.

    Love this video! I was curious if the Joby 3K would be able to support my a7c + sigma 24-70 (you’re right, it IS a heavy lens)

    Thanks for making the video. Is it comfortable to fit the A7C with kit lens inside the field pouch?
    I'm actually going for a similar compact setup but with a ZV-E1 and 40mm F2.5g. I already have the strap but I'm not sure if I should pull the trigger with the pouch. Cheers!

    The peak design bag looks so cool. I just can't handle the price. The kit lens is a powerful lens, indeed. Not crappy at all compared to previous kit lenses. Awesome video, man. Much love from Malaysia.

      Hey, Izhan! Maybe you can find one on your local used gear market! It's really very functional, it just makes carrying the A7C easier. And yes, I agree! The 28-60 is a crazy good lens! I find myself bringing it out more often than my other lenses, only of course if I know that it won't be a low light scenario. Cheers, man!

    Very nice pared down kit for traveling. Which Arca Swiss plate do you have attached to your camera, it works with all the plates and even the bag's capture!

    • @markfriday
      @markfriday  Год назад

      Hey there! I'm using the included Arca Swiss baseplate of the Peak Design Capture! It comes in so handy because you don't have to remove it if you want to go from tripod mode to Capture Clip mode.

    Hi thanks for the video. I have a question for the field pouch capacity. If you don’t use the camera capture, can you put A7C inside the field pouch?

    • @markfriday
      @markfriday  10 месяцев назад +1

      Hey there! Yes you can! With a pancake lens like the Samyang 35mm f2.8 FE. But if you're using it with the 28-60, it'll fit but I don't like the way it bulges out so I usually bring the camera body cap and lens back cap so I can just remove the lens from the camera and stow both in the Field Pouch then reattach the lens when I'm ready to shoot.

      @donalone 10 месяцев назад

      @@markfriday thanks for the reply. I guess that doesn’t work for me as I think even taking off the lens cap takes too much time.

    Will I be able to fit my A7c kit (the camera, the len, the charger, and ssd cards) all inside the bag?

    • @markfriday
      @markfriday  Год назад +2

      Hey, Thong! Yes you can! But you'll have to detach the lens from the camera to be able to avoid having it too crammed up inside. Sounds like you're planning to travel soon! 🔥

    hey mark, what is like shooting under the sun..is the LCD bright enough ?

    • @markfriday
      @markfriday  Год назад +1

      Hey, Stan! In my opinion, it is bright enough. Much brighter than my old A6400 but maybe 20% less bright than my A7S III. But I used it while hiking and I could still clearly see the histogram and the EV meter under broad daylight so it's definitely good!

    • @donalone
      @donalone 10 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks for the answer. Guess it’s not convenient enough. The pouch is just good for small cameras like GR III or pancake lenses.

    Do you think a sony A7iv with a 24-70 is too big to attach on the bag?

    • @markfriday
      @markfriday  5 месяцев назад +1

      Hey, Clinton! I actually tried this with my Sigma 24-70 f2.8. It handles it with no problem but it's actually my shoulders which can't bear the heavy weight, haha! If you're anything bigger than me you should be fine, haha!

    • @Clintonguyen

      @@markfriday thanks for the reply! Would you say that burden on your shoulder is the exact same as just attaching the camera to your peak design strap you have ?
