Happy Wednesday AKG congratulations on your new job & wishing you much success in it. Congratulations too on getting hold of a new in box variant of the Wenger Handyman, your version with the Victorinox like spear point blade is definitely a rarity as I have not come across a Wenger that does not have either their trademark swollen belly shape type of spear point or a clip point main blade ( on Swiss Buck Wengers & Wenger EvoSoft 14 & 18 models - note that the Soft Touch 18 is itself a variant of the Wenger Handyman with soft black handles & clip point main blade and is now extremely rare and valuable to collectors - I don't have one but do own an EvoSoft 14 - also now extremely rare ). The Wenger Handyman is the equivalent of the Victorinox Deluxe Tinker which I use as part of my home tool kit rather than a pocket carry knife. I recommend you get hold of a pocket slip to carry it in your pocket to save the scales from getting scratched as its now almost impossible to find replacement Wenger scales on line other than the Evolution contoured type with the Victorinox cross on them & they dont fit a lot of the older Wenger models.
Happy Wednesday!!! Thank you for your kind wishes! I found this Wenger at an obscure dealer selling all kinds of weird things for charity. I was psyched to snatch it up!
I’ve almost picked up that UK knife a couple of times, but always seem to find something else I’d prefer to hold. Thanks for the review. . . . Oh, and congrats and best wishes on the new job!
Very cool Wenger! I have a couple models. Thanks for sharing!
I just got that same knife. Iike that can opener. It's in really good shape. I'm happy.

Thank you so much for watching, and I will take your advice on the pocket slip.

Wish wenger had never left. My first swiss army. 😔
I know of a few people who’s first Swiss Army knife was a Wenger. Mine was a Victorinox, but I love them both!
Don’t you mean they accepted you🤔
