You can thick slice and freeze. Cabbage steaks.

I haven’t freeze dried cabbage-yet-, but I have dehydrated a red cabbage. I stored it in a big mason jar, and I’ve used it in kale salads and soups. It reconstituted beautifully in the kale salad just from the olive oil dressing.

This is the best explanation I have heard about indeterminate and determinate tomatoes. I now understand the difference.🤩

I can't stop looking at whatever that is behind you growing very tall. I love that you gave the cabbage more time! Blanched the cabbage first then double bag freeze.

You can also make sauerkraut and can it. I do sometimes can cabbage but that is called rogue canning. It is not recommended anymore.

I learned from my grandmother to root the suckered and have extra healthy plants available with little effort.
She didn't this specially when she had little or no seeds left of a variety. Also when she wanted to grow extra tomatoes of a specific variety.

Yes absolutely! I meant to mention this and will try to talk about that in an upcoming video. I did this last year.

Sauerkraut. Maybe you can try making that. It's fermented cabbage. I'm not sure if you all like it. But it's an idea. Thank you for encouraging me.❤

If your deep freezers are full, they should last longer than 48 hours if you leave them closed.

Maybe if you dry it or freeze to use for asian dumplings or momo's or pho the cabbage does not have to be crisp. Enjoy

Love all your videos!!! Great job!! Everything looks so beautifully amazing!! I would love to know about that eucalyptus that’s growing behind you… it’s so lovely and I want to try growing my own but I have no idea where to start or what to do afterwards, any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Thanks so much. I started that eucalyptus from seed and I think the variety is silver dollar. You can get eucalyptus seeds from Botanical Interests or Urban Farmer. They take up to 2 weeks to germinate and grow best in summer conditions.
