Great video and awesome gift ideas there Danny! Have you tried the BRS 3000T backpacking stove? It's about 1 ounce, super compact, reliable, and only 15 bucks on Amazon. Been using one for several years now and it's never let me down. Goes great with the Toaks 750ml too :) Think you'd love it man!
Man that sounds right up my ally. I think I've heard of this one, but if you back it I think I might just have to give it a try. Once I've recovered from Christmas shopping I'll order it up! Thanks John!!
@@DannyJSchaefer My pleasure Danny. Yeah, it's definitely worth a try for sure. Solid lil' stove... and you get to shave a few ounces off of the ol' pack weight :) Definitely hear ya about the post Christmas recovery period man!
Another great, useful, and informative video! I happen to have a few of those items. I just got the tiny pump recently, but work has been insane, so I have not gotten to play around with it like I wanted to. However, I used it enough and liked what I saw, so I got one for my brother for Christmas. I hope he is not watching this video! ;) I have a titanium pot. I got it about 7 or 8 years ago. I do not recall the brand, but it is in one of my kits as well. Big fan of the pocket rocket! I have one of those in a car kit with some fuel. I have the Sawyer straw in a few of my kits and I cannot say enough good about those things. I am going to get some of those socks for my Mom! I am a huge fan of the usb battery pack! I have a similar model. 10K mAh power banks. We have a whole home generator. We lost power on the block a couple of years ago for over a day. We were set, but it was nice to help our neighbors. I handed a few of those out and the people we gave them to REALLY liked them. One person commented they were able to charge 3 phones np! I hope you guys are well!!!
Thank you my friend!! I tried to make it a practical list, and so I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'm curious to hear how you like the tiny pump after you use it for yourself a few times! I see on Flextailgear's website that they have a couple of other versions.. one that is a little bigger, but doubles as a small battery bank too. Your brother told me he's very excited about his tiny pump!! Haha The Pocket Rocket is a good ol' classic stove. I love it! Do you have any other stoves that you use? I saw on Amazon that somebody ordered some women's DarnTough socks! Was that you?? Man I cannot extend my gratitude towards you enough for using those links. I seriously seriously appreciate it. That's awesome about your battery banks! From the conversations we've had on here and over email you seem like a great neighbor to have in situations like when the power goes out on the block! Hope you guys are doing well.. as well!! 😊
@@DannyJSchaefer I will absolutely let you know my thoughts on the tiny pump once I play around with it more!!! I do have a stove made out of titanium. I cannot recall who made it. There are 4 sheets. It packs flat and when you assemble it, it is very durable. It is also super simple to put together. It does not use liquid fuel, it is wood burning. I have that in case I do not have fuel. I also have another cool stove, at least in my opinion. 😏It is packed away now, but you add pieces of wood to it and believe it or not, the heat charges a battery that you can use to charge a phone. I bought it about 6 or 7 years ago for that reason alone. It is called a BioLite. I purchased mine through the manufacturer, but I checked and they sell on Amazon now. I have an older version, but mine looks very similar to the CampStove 2+. The Pocket Rocket is a favorite because it is so small and light weight, even with the fuel. Yep, that was me! I ordered 3 pairs. You are very welcome!!! I used your links when I did my Christmas shopping on Amazon. 😁I hope you got credit for the video card I got my nephew! I will send you an email with more details on the rest of the purchases. We are glad to use your links. It is super easy and we are glad you get a reward, it is not a big one, but hopefully people use them and it all adds up!!! I also have a battery bank that I thought was pretty cool 😎. It is a case and you slide a single 18650 battery in it. It has two usb ports. A type A and a micro. I have a ton of 18650 batteries for all my flashlights. I can use one of those batteries and charge my phone or run a light. It is small and light. I have it mostly for emergencies, the 10,000 mAh or greater are my favorite for big tasks. I also have a small, but powerful USB powered fan. That comes in handy and would be great if i was without power on a hot sticky day. Keep up the great work!
Solid items, Danny!
