In case you're interested, Tuomas's wife Johanna Kurkela and Marco did a Christmas duet a few years ago. It's in Finnish, but it's beautiful. As for Floor, there's nothing she can't sing! Merry Christmas, JL!

'Heavy Christmas' was held again this year in Finland. This year's tour was a 15th anniversary tour. The main concert was in Helsinki on December 14, 2019. I myself was there to listen. And both Marco and Floor were on stage with numerous other performers. An unforgettable concert. 😍

Watching this I could not help thinking that .. Floor represents the kind of woman who though heavily with child .. if in a bygone day Orcs attacked the village she would be at the front with boar spear in one hand, shield in the other leading the tribe in a battle chant .. :)
lmao Yes I could picture that as well.
Yeah, I remember that fight. That day we killed the last orcs inspired by her example. She didn't need to kill any of them - she just awed them to a standstill with her voice. Easy picking after that, first we were losing, undermanned because most of our men were searching for them in the fields. I was in the xillage, because earlier I took an arrow to the knee. Lucky no bone nor tendon was permanently damaged. I didn't kill any orc that day, just held one at bay, and with my flu smitten voice I made his head explode.I can't take credit for that, I think he chose that himself. Then there was one more Orc left alive, but he died in laughter, after he saw that head explosion. In a way I wonder, how could such creatures ever have lived.
So, nowadays they don't come anymore to fang you at the grill queue in the little ours when you tipsy-toe home from the inn, mosh pit or dance club.
Can't say I miss them.
‘Raskasta joulua’ has a double meaning in Finnish. It’s not only ‘heavy Christmas’ but also ‘pregnant Christmas’. Quite literally! Thanks Floor for spelling it out to me😊

BTW, in RUclips can found already some Heavy Christmas 2019 songs taken from TV camera, not just phone camera. One really funny and actually really nice feeling is coming from Marko and Floor singing again this year Ave Maria. Marko, no shoes..., Floor - well she have... and their height difference even more. When they end, Marko comes near Floor and put his head resting against Floor´s shoulder :D . It looks same time funny but so cute! And shows so well relationship between Nightwish members!

Fully off topic: I did not expect this at all, but this morning I read about and heard Glen Campbell's Wichita Lineman. Supposedly an American classic. Did some research and this afternoon I will be picking up the recent released 4CD compilation album Legacy box 1961-2017 at the local record store. Don't know I you are in for this kind of American music, I would have to check your postings to be sure. Though being a super fan of alt-country I did not know 'till this morning I would like this man and his music. ;=) But, now to think of it, Rhinestone Cowboy was a major hit in the Netherlands in the nineteen seventies.
I'm so happy you enjoyed this reaction. I absolutely did. Floor is an angel to me, she always lifts my spirits. As for Glen Campbell, as a general rule, personally I'm not a huge listener of the genre (Country Music), however, there are a few artist that I appreciate and do listen to because country music really sprang up from old rhythm and blues. My motto is Good Music is Good Music no matter the genre. Enjoy your new purchase and have the best of New Years!

I was at the Heavy Christmas concert, the last concert December 14th with 12 000 other at the arena, after they had toured Finland for weeks. To hear her singing Finnish flawless is just once in a lifetime, she is above amazing. The whole Heavy Christmas show is so amazing, I just love it. Thanks for a great reaction.
