    As a kid raised in a conservative Christian community, I didn't find the connection with God. Now as a 57 yo man, I have found my faith in Him. I always enjoy your messages.
    Love you Rabbi, keep up the good
    work. People like me need people like you.

      I got into experiencing GOD. It works. I read a book by St. Frances Desales called a devout life and other spiritual formation books. They not only helped but showed me how to know and experience GOD in Christ.

      @guitarszen⬅️ And millions more that got back up as if they never fell down. Being bound above means a spiritual thing. You won't fall if you put faith above, versus putting your faith in your own understanding and strength.
      The person the Rabbi spoke of probably did a lot of spiritual work with a Source outside of himself, like God, and he was miraculously able to handle a slippery slope by the power from above.
      Others fell down because potentially their hope and faith was in a different place. After all, they didn't have to follow him down the mountain in the first place....

      @@truth806There is always a answer. Even myself, a mere mortal ,can give you a answer without speaking a single word too you. Learn to listen with your heart, God speaks constantly through our surroundings, people, situations, and experiences.

      @truth806 you're praying wrong ?

      @mwase7782 Год назад +3

      @truth806 “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” Mark 11:23
      • Believe in your prayers manifesting and be grateful for that happening. Be grateful for whatever you're praying for as if you received it. You can feel joy and gratefulness for things you don't have yet. pretend you have it and the feeling will overwhelm you. Not believing makes it pointless!
      • God is with us ALL the time. You dont just pray when you close your eyes and direct thoughts to him. every thought of yours is a prayer because he hears you. your general thoughts are small prayers. and just think positive and that's part of your prayer. Don't pray for a job and then go on thinking getting a job is too difficult or you aren't good enough for one. You've just contradicted your prayer.
      • if you pray asking for something and then in your general thoughts you are negative and don't believe you'll receive it, you're basically telling God you don't belive he'll do it for you so he'll listen and not do it! He'll never give you what you didn't ask for. Yes you may pray, but what do you general thoughts say and ask for? Faith is everything, and not just in God existing but in him doing what you ask for 🙏
      This is what has changed my life. I was let go of my job in March and I've now started my own company and my previous employers are one of my first clients 😂 I've been grateful for my company before since the idea was presented to me. I felt & acted like it was already real and making money!

    My prayer practice has encompassed more gratitude than requests as of late. However, I find myself experiencing such heaviness in this world at times, the requests I make resemble begging, there’s a desperation I try to alchemize through the same prayer. I just found this channel in my research of Kabbalah. I am always in awe at the ways we are aligned with the outside world in the ways we need. I think my prayer was answered finding this place that resonates so deeply with my belief system as it was already. ❤ I can listen for hours. Thank you.

    I used to consider myself an atheist. Then I studied Islam and thought I was a sufi. And now I listen to Jewish ppl like yourself. To me the unifier is never the body of thought itself, it's coming to the same realization and keeping it simple. When were honest with ourselves it's amazing how much we all align. We humans have such tendencies to overcomplicate things

    Primo Levi, who was in Auschwitz for a whole year until the war ended, wrote in his book "If this is a Man" (or - in the Americal revision of the title, "Survival in Auschwitz") that there were many men who prayed while standing in line awaiting their fate, but were put to death anyway (including their whole families). After writing 6 books - he said he felt a moral obligation to bear witness to what the human race is capable of doing - he killed himself (some say he fell and died accidentally, so there's a debate on that). Even those with immense inner strength and a sense of connectivity can be broken. I am not in dissagreement with you, dear Rabbi and my words do not contradict what you say (who am I to contradict?) but I wanted to share this story. Thank you for your insightful and deep videos 💌
