I didn’t even know you were from the Bay Area until I scrolled down and saw your video about moving to israel from CA- I cried this morning watching that! It’s such a beautiful story, Leah!! We were in Walnut Creek for 8 years and then El Sobrante for 4 yrs before we made Aliyah- my husband is Israeli but spent 30 years in the US- my oldest daughter went to CCJDS in Lafayette and JCHS in SF if you’re familiar with those Jewish schools- well we made Aliyah in nov 2020 during Covid so that was really hard- but israel is amazing and I can’t imagine living anywhere else! I was a morning person until 5th grade, then a night owl until my mid-30s. Now I'm basically awake noonish-3pm and in a half-coma the rest of the day, and I can't even blame marriage or kiddos for it.

I didn’t even know you were from the Bay Area until I scrolled down and saw your video about moving to israel from CA- I cried this morning watching that! It’s such a beautiful story, Leah!! We were in Walnut Creek for 8 years and then El Sobrante for 4 yrs before we made Aliyah- my husband is Israeli but spent 30 years in the US- my oldest daughter went to CCJDS in Lafayette and JCHS in SF if you’re familiar with those Jewish schools- well we made Aliyah in nov 2020 during Covid so that was really hard- but israel is amazing and I can’t imagine living anywhere else!
