Assalamu alaikum. Do you think this cycle will see widespread adoption so much so it is more feasible to see your Bitcoin as a currency/store of value rather than an investment, or is much more adoption required, therefore more cycles?
@@tanzimqurashi7292 no, I don’t. I think we are still VERY VERY VERY early. Like internet in the late 90’s early 00’s. Mass adoption has been sped up with Covid and money printing, but there are still quite a few technological and logistic hurdles that need to be overcome first. Things like a more robust lighting network, better user experience with wallets etc, the upcoming updates to the network called ‘tap root’ and ‘schnorrs signatures’ to name a few. When discussing permissibility according to the laws of Allah (swt) one must actually indulge into WHAT Allah (swt) has to say about it. Using simple based ‘logic’ and layman analogies is not the way to attack the subject of finance & permissibility of currencies. With all due respect.
Not one hadith or Qur’an ayat used in the analysis. Come on if we’re discussing what Allah’s laws are the minimum we must do is derive our verdict from Qur’an and Shari’ah.

Yup. It’s all based on maths 🧮. The private keys/public Key 🔑 derivation, which is using elliptic curve algorithms, sha256 hashing algorithms, and a whole lot more. Even the 21million coin limit is an emergent property of the Bitcoin halvening every 210,000 blocks.
