Why would anyone rent this lens when they can go for a Arri Master Anamorphic ..those lens are 25,000 when purchased. Can’t wait to see why these lens cost so much. The glass must be astounding. I had to laugh at the word salad he tossed around when it came to justifying the price. 34000 euros yikes!

Wont be a lens for owner operater. 35k per lens does seems quite high compared to an Atlas or PS.Technik.
I’ll just stick with anamorphics for MFT mount cameras and rent anamorphics for larger PL mount cameras if and when I need them.

Yess I've been saying it for years and someone has finally done it. Oval iris on anamorphic lenses.
I think the Viltrox Epic has done the same thing with oval inserts to achive 2x sort of look
