    Well done with the Leonard Cohen reference , As a child there was no TV in the home and her father is a fan of Cohen and played his music often , Aurora will always mention him if asked about musical influences .There are a couple of her songs in which Cohens lyric's are used eg Exist for Love which uses a line from Suzanne and also There is a War.

    Commenting for your Aurora algorithm!
    When you zoomed into her eye contact with the camera and her ‘what are you doing here’ look, I actually started laughing. That’s an interesting and astute observation that I didn’t pick up on myself

    Aurora is such a genuine Artiste. Her music just flows from her heart and she helps to push the story forward with her body, facial expressions and hand and arms. A truly creative and talented young lady. I do hope that maybe you'll react to more of her work with your in-depth reactions. Thanks.

    This and "Lucky (live at Nidarosdomen)" are my favourite performances by Aurora. They are both so incredible beautiful, captivating and enchanting.
    It's so sad that she is so underrated that it doesn't really pay off for you and other youtubers to react to Aurora's live performances. So thank you very much for doing it nonetheless. :)
    If you ever feel the need to react to another performance by Aurora, please consider reacting to the one mentioned above, "Lucky live in Nidarosdomen" :)

    Ooh nice! Just found all your old Aurora reactions!
    I feel kinda lame cuz the first ever Aurora reaction I saw you do, I almost bailed...cuz I prejudged you. I was like...oh, a highly physically attractive actor dude, I think I know what to expect here. And boy was I wrong. That video(I forget which one it was) was hands down THE best and most insightful reaction to Aurora I'd ever seen. It was a nice little lesson to remember to be careful not to assume things you couldn't possibly know. Anyway....can't wait to see you dissect this one. This isn't necessarily one of my favorite Aurora songs....but this _performance_ is absolutely in my top 10.

    Great reaction 👍
    The song is about possibly rape but most certainly murder, cause in the end she comes back to haunt him (just like in “Churchyard”)
    “It Happened Quiet’ and ‘Churchyard’ - which is about someone that is stronger… a grown up with a child, a teacher with a student - someone that takes advantage of their power and uses it in the wrong way. It’s inspired by domestic violence.” AURORA
    I don’t know what you’ve reacted to before, but here’s some suggestions:
    “The Seed” official video
    “Running with the wolves” official video
    “Lucky” and “Through the eyes of a child” live from Nidarosdomen (cathedral in Norway) 2017
    ✌️🌍❤️

      I've heard that this song is Murdersong part 2. "It happened quiet" and "feadhers from a pillow" means that someone is shooting a gun through a pillow to quiet the bang... At least that's the way I interpret this song. It's my favourite song from Aurora. So sad and beautiful, that it makes my eyes watering each time I hear it...

    Many fans of Aurora also love Angelina Jordan. 16 year old girl has even better vocal, she sing mainly covers, but those covers are better than original.
    Please try for example her "My Funny Valentine" from 2022. It is another style than Aurora - mainly jazz or blues from 1950/60. If you prefer current pop try her covering Adele or Lana del Rey

    Sorry man, can't take so many breaks in the song, save your reaction for the end, I know because of copy rights you have to pause, but not this many times, ruins the feel.

  • @aornellas
    @aornellas 2 года назад

    I love your reactions, but one thing that REALLY drives me crazy is how you insist on pausing right in the middle of phrases, specially some that are so impactful, and then you lose their meaning...

  • @Nora-jt9zy
    @Nora-jt9zy 2 года назад

    I usually like your reactions, but you did the same mistake with this Aurora reaction as you did with the last I heard you did. You pause so often that you lose the context of the song. Aurora always has a message in her songs. Her songs are usually very deep. Her variations in her vocals are very much a part of the message. Many people interpret this song to be about an abusive relationship, and when she sings “love is wild” that really means “love is violent”. And the way her voice changes when she says “don’t you speak over my voice” is a symbol for a victim that finally speaks up for him or herself.
    So by pausing so much, you miss the multi-layers of her music.
