UPDATED RULES:
- Can only work on one collection log at a time until it is greened/completed. It can be returned to later on.
- All pets, skilling pets, miscellaneous, All clue scroll logs and random events can be worked on passivly and at anytime
- I can only keep resources obtained from a collection log activity but I can still train skills outside of collection log activities
- Can't buy from shops

- I can use shops that have to do with my current collection log activity. E.g the slayer shop or motherlode mine shop.

One thing id recommend is going for all of the skilling outfits first if possible to make grinds later a tad bit easier. rouge, or the woodcutting one etc. Fantastic series im looking forward to more episodes

It's kind of cheesy but I fucking love the lock in animation. I can't wait until the lock-in is for something genuinely miserable because it just sounds/looks as though you have been condemned to a grind.

I love this concept of locked to a collection log. But I don't get why all experience isn't locked to that log as well? I get you had down time mining star dust and might as well do something else, but you had the mines of Camdozaal for mining.
You could sell star fragment for stardust and then buy celestial ring, would only need 3k instead of 5k dust

Love the series. Not sure if you do your own editing but the log-locked animation is so cool. What if rather than reverse the animation for the unlock, what if you reverse the chains and then shatter the lock? Might be a neat idea to play around with. Either way the series is a lot of fun to watch.
So I paid a person to do the animation for the lock. I might look into getting them to do some form of animation for the completed part :)
Might be cool to have the number of chains be the number of items in the log too, then as you unlock them the chains break/reverse
Hey man, love the vids! If you don't mind, I agree with people that maybe shops should be unrestricted, period, but if you feel it would retract from some grinds then I totally get it.
One idea I thought about (even if it can make your rules a bit more convoluted) is, how about allowing working on parallel logs every 10 or 15 completed? As in, once you complete 15 logs, you can now work on 2 logs at the same time, 30 logs for 3 in parallel, and so on. Might make end game a bit easier for you and your sanity, and we would get more content without taking away from the core concept
The thing I like about the no shops rule is it makes me need to go back to come old content otherwise it is just comepleted and never seen again. For example I could just go buy weapons or food from shops if I wanted to and that would make some logs meaningless but I wan't them to have niche uses throughout the series :)

Its always recommended do canifis till 60 beacuse its very fast do regardless as leaving point and starting pointnare next to eachother

I never understand this, assuming you want to level agility anyways you might as well do the highest course?
Its also about efficiency aswell. You will fall more often in falador which wiki cut down your exp hr and averagely exp difference is nonexisten between two.
Also its 60second do falador rooftop while 44 second do canifs so 16second difference in completing rooftop can be maker for some and not mention your marks of grace are better till 60 which you change to seers village rooftop anyway.
Yes wiki say way higher rates but its assuming that you're not falling off from rooftops so 20-22k xp os average on falador with falling off which just is like 1-3k exp difference
Also with right positioning on camerq, you barely need move your mouse.
Only exception for XP that makes you stay till 90 agility is seers as seers rooftop offers higher xl/hr than rellekka and alternatively people do sote and do elven agility course instead for more afk.
So if you dont mind falling off more often and have more stamina drain, its fine do falador but the difference in exp is not big enough for most do and more you fall, less exp you will get
Alternatively you can go to wilderness agility course which is argueable faster than falador or canifis
TL;DR
Less you fall, the better your agility training is on rooftops.

14:09 Making a tool to crop the stats more precisely might be good if you're going to be showing stats at the end of each episode, won't have to worry about free handing it and cutting off too much or two little

Heads up, when you zoom in to your inventory but are still moving your character the movement makes me a bit motion sick. If you could either have just the inventory or make sure your character has stopped, that'd be great.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you shouldn't be able to buy an adamant pickaxe. You didn't buy the tool for a quest, and the shop is not needed to get log items (like the graceful shop is). I personally really dislike the "can't use shops" restriction, as it leads to weird grey area situations, but with your restriction, I think you should have killed npcs for a better pick, done clues for a black pick, or just used the bronze pick from tutorial island/spawn locations.
I agree with this, I don't see any benefit as a viewer for not allowing shops. It adds potentially hours long grinds to the account for a 15 second clip of 'I needed a pickaxe so I went and killed the chaos elemental for a bit' just so he can continue with the grind he wanted to do in the first place.
So I am allowed to buy tools because I have the exception of being able to buy tools and items for quests. I use the wiki category tools to decide what is a tool. I added that rule in because it makes it impossible to do some skills without making exceptions to get tools so i felt it is better than adding it in for only 4 skills and just made it general and include all tools. The use of the Wiki for tools also avoids the 'grey' area aswell by giving a clear list of tools :)
So I don't allow shops because I feel it adds more depth to the account and lets me theory-craft more which is what I like. For example since I can't use shops I can't buy weapons or food so I have to do collection logs to get these items for myself early to set myself up for some grinds. An example of this would be I will be doing temple treking rather early because it unlocks a source of food and also silver which will be a great crafting training method over just buying gold in a shop. Hopefully this explains a little as to why I made this rule :)
@@Zayzed That is still quite confusing to me. You're drawing a line in the sand and saying that you don't want to use stores if you don't have to, because you want to do theory crafting, but also fine with buying a pickaxe rather than grinding beginner clues for a better pick? The restriction of "no stores" just seems so arbitrary to me. I have seen other snowflakes (Vannaka's slayer drop locked acc comes to mind), where they have rules against using stores to some capacity, and I never find that it adds much depth, and just makes the acc overly complicated. It's your acc, and I'm going to continue watching the series, that's just my 2 cents

What did i miss, why is buying pickaxe 8:56 allowed? You said at the beginning that you cant buy items from shops.
In my rules I say that I can only use shops for tools and the current or past collection logs shops

I don't plan to do Wintertodt at all on this account. Items are ok from there but the unqiues are not that useful and it takes over 100m+ xp to finish the log which sounds horrible lmao. Tempoross I plan for later but I have another plan to get food next episode :)

Yea so I can use them later on to get them since they are a collection log item and the shop is a part of that completed log :)
@@Zayzed Follow up question: does that mean that you could infinitely like fish for swordfish and shark, as they have the big swordfish and big shark collection log attached to them?
@@thibaut3695 Nah so since they are on a passive log I won't be able to keep them items but I could keep the collection log item if I get it but not the other items to obtain it :)

Here is another tip to tune content for better. Give moment of silence time to times and simply show content you are doing. There is so many jump cuts straight into next sentence, its hard to keep up.

Just saying, you practically have no meaningful shop restrictions since you made exceptions for items that are used in quests or can be used in your log grind which can be intepreted very broadly. You don’t need to tack meaningless restrictions on, just leave it off. You went and bought a pickaxe because duh you need one, so why bother acting like it’s a restriction?
So for the shop restrictions I am only allowed tools and items from my current or completed collection log activities. So I can't just go buy combat gear for a combat grind or any food from shops so I have to plan my account in a way that will set me up for future content. So I will HAVE to complete Tempoross in the future because it's my only way of getting good healing food on the account :)

Sorry dude, this just doesn't sound like too good of an idea for a series. It's literally just going for one thing at a time with otherwise regular gameplay allowed towards that goal. Yeah, being able to only train skills as part of the journey towards a collection log sounds like a cool restriction on paper but it's not very interesting to watch. At this point just making a regular IM or HCIM would make for better content. Love the boss locked though, can't wait for more of that.
See I like how this account is setup. With my rules of only keeping collection log items it means I have to plan out and setup my account so when I commit to a long grind I won't get trapped by not having food or other resources. It just adds some more depth to the account I feel. Something like in the future since I can't train slayer till I start that log I will have to train to 69 slayer through temple trecking so I can unlock demonics before I start my slayer log :)
