Joe, good video! May, I make a suggestion? For the spot on your chin, buy a small circle sticky plaster (Americans call them 'Bandaids') put a drop of Clearasil on the plaster before you go to bed-- and the spot will be gone in the morning.
And Joe, your hair looks better than 90% of most people's hair unstyled. You got good hair mate!

Because you style your hair from left to right (natural way it grows/sits) I noticed you get volume in the middle and towards your left of your fringe, the right side of your fringe gets kinda flat since it's used to that direction. You should blow dry the opposite way that way you get volume in the front of your hair. Not the middle. Great vid though!

Awesome video man, I actually style my hair pretty similarly except I straighten my hair the opposite way it grows and use HDF sponge wax. Going to definitely try going with my hair's natural direction next time.

i have the same length, shorter sides and intuitionally the same routine i can't put my hair back however, probably since it's thiner and therefor lighter

Hey so I dont really know how to explain my problem but here goes. So if i try to do the same thing and pull my hair back like Joe does (my hair is pretty long, reaches my nose), my hair kinda goes UP rather than going BACK and kind of stands like a wavy wall which i absolutely detest. Is it because i usually style without wetting my hair?

I think he should cut the sides way shorter. Like 1 up to 4 at top of sides. Disconnection. Cut front down to about eye level. Fade the top in length to about an inch and half. Then style faux hawkish. Would look a lot more stylish. Chicks dig faux Hawks not slick backs.
