I just realized my original comment disappeared but thank you so much, that is so sweet! I’ve definitely been there before so I just wanted to share some alternatives to make the recipe more accessible!
Yeah of course 😊 I’m sure it would taste great with regular milk too! You can definitely customize it based off your preferences so if oat milk isn’t your thing then definitely give something else a try
I got oNe with regular milk and will admit it took a lot of the strong coffee flavour away, I think because the oat milk is a bit thinner it leaves it tasting stronger :)
I couldn’t agree more with you regarding the taste of the drink! I definitely got a more prominent cinnamon taste than brown sugar. Igreatly appreciate the alternatives to espresso ☕️ ! 🥰 i will definitely give your version a try!!! Thank you!!
Omg yes, it was definitely a good drink but didn’t taste very much like brown sugar so I was a little disappointed. I hope you enjoy it, let me know how it goes!!
I’ve been making my own version of this with brown monk fruit sweetener instead of brown sugar for months now- I honestly think the homemade thing is better than starbucks lol
Omg ur so adorable you seem like such a awert genuine person 💞 also i made a caramel cold brew yesterday and it was soooooo good. Actually tasted like Starbucks
Brown sugar itself is relatively sweet but I think the molasses in it helps offset some of the sweetness. In the syrup form it’s even more diluted because it’s half water, so it’s not overpowering at all! (In my opinion)
Hmmm I’m not sure, I haven’t tried it with instant coffee! But maybe try doing like 1 tbsp of instant coffee to 4 tbsp (1/4 cup) of hot water? And then of course you can adjust based on your preferences!
As a barista, I'd flat out refuse to make an iced shaken espresso without ice. The ice is the only thing preventing the espresso from expanding inside the shaker and creating a dangerous pressure. I've had hot espresso explode all over me before because I had used very little ice due to a customer request. Ask for extra milk, or pay for the extra shots for more drink.
HEY CHEYENNE, great name for a great gal! i just wish you wouldn't bow to S'bucks so much, i think their cafe is awful, prices ridiculous, and i'm sure what u made is 100x better!! Having lived in Spain 4 years where i 1st learn what espresso was, and having travelled to Italy many times, S'bucks has copied Italian names, and made drinks that r full of sugar 4 folks who like sugar, with a touch of coffee! BTW Oatley is a rip off also; i make my own almond, oat and they're all great, and Califa is a great brand, and just bc they use Oatley, doesnt mean its any better than anything else! Forgive me, but your presentation was great, BOO 2 them! kelli
Hey, thanks for your insight! Starbucks was my first job way back when I was 16 and it was the first place I started to learn about coffee, so naturally I’m a little biased. I’m aware that it’s not authentic but unfortunately I myself haven’t had the luxury of getting to live in Spain or Italy to learn about the real good stuff. I’m looking into buying my first real espresso machine here soon so that I can get into home brewing! As for the oatly comment, I simply preferred the taste of that oat milk to the califia farms brand - just personal preference.
@@CheyenneBrowncmyb hey, definitely understand where you're coming from, but i'm much older thn u are and have been fortunate to have lived, traveled so many places! if u buy a MOKA for $25, or less at Marshalls or TJ Maxx, they make excellent epresso and its what most Italians have in their homes! i usually make my own oat, almond milk, and next will try rice as these are w/o any additives, so natural and much cheaper than oatly! if you watch downshiftology, she explains the couple things one can use to avoid slime in oat milk which is what Oatley does, and its more costly, but i usually drink Chobani, which is excellent! i dont use sugar normally, so probably wouldnt try this particular one, but have a cafe drink daily, and now am drinking a cafe-moca smoothie!! thx for this reply, :): kelli
Personally I think the brown sugar syrup makes it sweet enough but if you want to add another layer of flavor and sweetness I’m sure that would be good too!
You're so cute and seem like a ray of sunshine! Thanks for sharing this recipe and giving tips for those of us who don't have espresso machines lol.
@Inaaya Nabeel Awww thank you so much! That makes me so happy to hear ☺️

@Inaaya Nabeel you are so kind! You take care as well 😊
@Inaaya Nabeel iuo
That drink looks so good. Also love that mustard color on you!
Aww that’s so sweet, thank you so much!!
Thank you for showing us how to recreate this drink at home! I love going to Starbucks as much as anyone, but it is hella expensive to get every day.
Of course! (: but no kidding, it’s just not sustainable for my wallet lol
This is my favorite drink ever
I got one last week but they were out of the syrup, so I subbed the brown sugar for the cinnamon dolce and bitttttchhh it was SO good
Lmao I love this 😂 that sounds amazing!
I do this!!! love itttttt!!! try cinnamon dolce and caramel taste like a flan dessert!!!
My Starbucks is always out of cinnamon dolce 😔
I love making these at home. Im obsessed 😊
I agree about it being super pricey, so thank you for giving us your expertise! Totally gonna try this out :)
Haha I don’t know about expertise but I’m happy to help! Hope you enjoy (:
I tried it today and it was so good! ♥️
Yay! I’m so glad you liked it ☺️
I was looking for how to do this drink. Thanks for your quick and easy Tutorial!
You're wonderful. Thank you for giving us different options. Not everything is in the same situation.
Of course!! Hope you found this helpful (:
my jaw physically dropped, you're so pretty omg
That's so sweet! Thank you 💕
I love your sweater! That color really suits you.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate that 🥰
Every new Starbucks' drinks take time to come here (Peru), so thanks for the recipe, it looks yum! Do you think it would taste good with regular milk?
Yeah of course 😊 I’m sure it would taste great with regular milk too! You can definitely customize it based off your preferences so if oat milk isn’t your thing then definitely give something else a try

Lol I agree! It’s nice to be able to customize based on your preferences
Where did you find the brown monk fruit sweetener. Would love to make this drink in a healthier version ☺️
Omg ur so adorable you seem like such a awert genuine person 💞 also i made a caramel cold brew yesterday and it was soooooo good. Actually tasted like Starbucks
Thank you so much ☺️ That sounds so good, I’ll have to give it a try!
You look so professional! I think adding some molasses into the brown sugar simple syrup and turn it into brown sugar "sauce" will enhance the flavor~
That is seriously such an incredible idea!! I will absolutely be giving that a try the next time I make the syrup!
I loved it! I'm gonna make it for sure.. Just wanted to let you know that you're so adorable and this color looks so good on you♥️
Yay! Let me know how you like it! and thank you so much, you’re so sweet 🥰
Cheyenne thanks for the great video. Love this drink but have always struggled to get the recipe just right at home. This is the sure way!
So glad you liked the video! Hope you enjoy this version of it (:
@@CheyenneBrowncmyb sure did 😊
Heathy drink super definately I am going to try this thanks for sharing stay connected new frnd
Definitely going to try this, looks awesome!
Nice! I hope you like it ☺️
You are adorable and this looks yummy! ♥
Thank you! ❤️
It looks so good
Thanks 😊 it was amazing!
Thanks for the video! Do you store the brown sugar syrup in the refrigerator or room temp, and how long can it be stored?
I believe it lasts for at least a month if stored in the fridge!
I will try make that too..👏😊
I’m DEFINITELY gonna have to try this. I literally spend too much money at Starbucks lmao
Girl me too lol I hope you like it!!
If you have a Target or whole foods near by, they usually carry OATLY
Ah good to know! I don’t have a Whole Foods nearby but I’ll definitely check out target (:
They have stove top espresso makers for $10 on Amazon they work great
How many drinks did you make with that syrup? did you store it in the fridge?
Yep I keep it in the fridge! I’ve made about four 16 oz drinks so far and I’m about halfway through this batch of syrup.
Thank u
How sweet is brown sugar
Brown sugar itself is relatively sweet but I think the molasses in it helps offset some of the sweetness. In the syrup form it’s even more diluted because it’s half water, so it’s not overpowering at all! (In my opinion)
Tried to buy this at Starbucks today and they were out of the syrup lol so I’m going to just try to make it myself
Let me know how it goes!
Get them to make it the exact same way but with cinnamon dolce syrup! It’s really good
I was thinking of trying this with instant coffee, what ratio of coffee powder to water would you recommend to use?
Hmmm I’m not sure, I haven’t tried it with instant coffee! But maybe try doing like 1 tbsp of instant coffee to 4 tbsp (1/4 cup) of hot water? And then of course you can adjust based on your preferences!
Order the drink without ice and get it on the side and you’ll get more drink! Also take a vantage of free refills or use your stars
Yeah the price is a bit out of my budget for me to get this drink consistently lol but thanks for the tips!

Six dollars for a grande is ridiculous
Maybe they were trying to imitate the Taiwanese brown sugar bubble milk tea xD
Hahah maybe! I’ve never had one before but they look soooo good
You’re adorable
Haha thank you!

god i recommend you can try Ketogenic weight loss
Keep your recommendations to yourself
@@kessa9755 yep I do ketogenic diet often
She's beautiful the way she is. You need to focus on being a better person instead of commenting that people need to try weight loss.
would you recommend adding vanilla extract like others do?
Personally I think the brown sugar syrup makes it sweet enough but if you want to add another layer of flavor and sweetness I’m sure that would be good too!
