thank you for posting this, zoom was & still is one of my favorite shows i remember it used to air after sesame street,mr.rogers, neighborhood & the electric company.i wish they would release the rest of these classic 70's episodes on dvd.
I watched all those shows also. I am sorry I Never kept up with Sesame Street and Mr Rogers. In my opinion Mr. Rogers and Sesame street had lessons for ALL ages even grownups.
I loved the '70s so much! This was my childhood. When I think of the colorful clothing, bright bubblegum, child-like pop tunes and freewheeling attitudes, the '70s was really the manifestation of what the '60s was supposed to be about. I remember reading something to this effect and it rung true. Look at the clothing styles and hair styles in the '60s. Yes, the "freaks" might have had long hair but it wasn't until the early '70s that schools relaxed their dress codes and boys/men had facial hair and grew out their hair.
When Levell left the show in season 5, They should have brought in another African-American child. The season seems less diverse than all the others. Karen and Arcardio's coloring blended in with the caucasian Zoomers. The production team missed an opportunity to make it right.
Zoom said it best make positive songs no negative songs it would make children act Christians again :) same bat time same bat channel :) inChrist allways chubby billpage illusionist magician in fun God Bless everyone
I've a hunch this must one of the first ever PBS show-to-show shout-outs.
I love this song so much even though the season didn’t feel the same after Levell left the show :( it’s a great season ender!

Fantastic how they integrated "Sing Your Kind Of Music" with the ZOOM theme song. Really clever and it worked so well.
+tomovox Reminds me of Sue Heck's graduation in The Middle
+Scott Leung Ha, Ha! Yes, you're so right!
I wish they would do a "Where Are They Now" on PBS.

This show has to come back with a marathon, whether new or old?
It was Joe Raposo the music director for Sesame Street write Sing.
Interesting.
Thanks for posting this.. always great to see anything from 70's Zoom!
1976 is a long time ago
This made me happy. Thank you!
i wonder why Levell didn't complete the season here on zoom 1976. it looked empty without him.
I remember Nell saying in the comments section of another RUclips video on 70s Zoom that Levell's mother refused to sign the contract.
is that why he left the show?
+SMSTERN2 I think so.
oh okay
no he's not!
Wait a minute, I thought it's from Sesame Street

I thought I remembered Irene Cara being on Zoom
Rosemary Magrino I think that was the series called “ Fame” that she was in.
She was on The Electric Company.
I also think it was her who did “infinity factory” with Nancy, Edith, and Danny McGrath, but I could be wrong.
@@goofy-sorbet Has anybody come across any videos or DVDs of Infinity Factory?
@@TnseWlms not that I know of - I’ve only heard of it through other zoom fans. Hopefully we find that one!

I don't agree with your message, but when they used to sing "Boston Mass" in their address song, I thought they were all Catholic.
You gotta.... Lol
I know some people who should disregard the line "Don't worry that it's not good enough for anyone else to hear"
Hey, that's your consciousness. Everyone has thoughts that reflect their attitude towards life.
@@lemurianchick Most people ask me to sing tenor. Ten or eleven miles away.
are any of these old season 1976 former zoom cast member on facebook by any chance?
Who Knows? They never gave their last names during production.
level was a guy
SMSTERN2
LEVELL IS A GIRL
Charlie Moskowitz Levell is a boy. God your so ignorant
Levell is all girl. I watched the original series first hand and as expected everyone referred to her as SHE and HER.
2023 anyone?
Hello there nice to meet you
Yes. Barbie, apparently. Hahaha. Song featured in movie. 🙂
