Your smile and excitement while showcasing your Excavation blanket is contagious! It is beautiful, stunning really! It has been fun watching you update your blanket over the years. I have to say that I can't believe that you have only been knitting for 7 years. Your knitted items are so beautiful!
Your excavation blanket is a masterpiece! How brave of you to start another so quickly. I’m also very impressed with your red truck socks. What a special gift for your son ❤
Hi Amy. I love all of your projects. Your son will love those socks, and I’m sure everyone who sees them loves them too. You really made a lot of things.
Amy, your hexi blanket looks amazing! I want to make a scrappy worsted weight blanket and think I am going to use your ripple formula. Thank you so much for picking my name in the Make9. Congratulations to all of the winners!
The so called imperfection of your purl stitches shows your beautiful personality. Let it go. It’s a hand knit and a document of an imperfect, beautiful life. Blessings!
I'm new here (from the Netherlands). And what a lovely episode. The socks for your second eldest son turn out very nice: he will love them, can't think otherwise 😊 thank you for sharing all your knits and thoughts about them.
❤❤thanks Amy,,,,,what a blanket🎉🎉🎉wow,,,,love it ,,, 😍 Love ur colorwork socks ,,,and the new colorwork socks pattern is so nice,,,,too,,,, Haven't decided yet what colors to use,,,but want to start them soon,,, A fun visit,, Elaine 😍🏡
Congratulations on finishing your blanket, it's stunning. Enjoyed seeing your flower blanket as well. I started one but it went on hold while I did the Stephen West MKAL so I'm excited to get back to it and seeing yours just reinforces it. Have a great few weeks.
Amy the truck socks are awesome!!! You're doing a great job. It would be fun to do 2 rows of a knit 2 with black and knit 2 with grey followed by 2 rows of knit 2 with grey and knit 2 with black right before you start the toe. Like a checker pattern ( tire tracks). He'll love them.
Congratulations to the winners 💚💜💙 I love the excavation blanket!! I bet you were thrilled to finish it after 7 years haha! 🎆 & You have some beautiful yarn acquisitions there! xx
I LOVE the blanket with the fringe! I completed two squares for a cozy memories blanket for one of my Make 9 squares but I’m just not feeling it. I’m going to frog them and switch to this blanket. It’s so gorgeous, as is your hexi blanket.
LisaR: Such beautiful projects! Rowing out is something new to me .I think it's most likely bc most patterns were knit flat and seamed when I learned . There's advantages & disadvantages to both ways :) It's great to be able to do both without having purl being an issue . I'm pretty sure this will disappear with practice . Maybe using a project that's utilitarian ( eg wash/ or dish clothes in stockinette?)with a cotton/ poly blend yarn ..In this way you'd have something useful while finding the your purl tension and needle placement etc . Just wanted to put this thought forward - In case it could be helpful to anyone ❤
The socks look so fun. Gift knitting and moving house and finishing renovations have taken over my life . Color work socks might be my reward cast on for living thru the holidays this year
OOOOHHH!! Thank you for showing the blanket. It is beautiful. I am just picking up knitting socks again and excited to begin. Something I've always wondered though. Why knit design on the foot if it is covered by a shoe? It is beautiful, yes, but is not seen very often. Just wondering. For the wearer enjoyment just like wearing pretty undies? That makes sense. And, yay!, birthday socks! So cute.
Lovely makes Amy
The socks for your son are adorable he will love them
Take care xx❤️🇬🇧❤️🇬🇧❤️

Socks are quite hidden, really…I just love making them!
Love the blanket! I am a new knitter and I want to make a fingering weight hat. Are any of the Knit Pick fingering yarns soft enough to use?
Yes…the Stroll line is very soft!
@@noblecharactercrafts thanks so much, I am not familiar with their yarns and didn't want to spend too much on something that might be scratchy , lol
