I still remember about five years ago, my dad died and I was hanging around the house on a Sunday feeling depressed and thinking life was pointless. I never listened to Death Magnetic when it came out, and something compelled me to look it up on RUclips. The Day That Never Comes was the first song that showed up in search results... I loved it immediately and spent the rest of the day learning it on guitar. It became one of my favorite Metallica songs that day, and I still love it now. Seeing this performance fills me with both happiness and sadness, which kind of sums up what Metallica has meant to me throughout my life.

This is one of the best songs Metallica have ever done. The way it builds is akin to Fade To Black, One or Sanitarium. James' voice sounds incredible, Kirk absolutely slays in the solos and Lars gives the drums a battering. What a band!

I’ve seen Metallica live several times but they never added this song to the setlist of the shows that I attended. Death Magnetic is in my opinion one of their best albums.
That album desparetely needs a remaster. I have a hard time listening to it the way it is.

Wer diese Intro nicht kennt, der hat noch nie in seinem Leben guten Heavy Metal gehört. Ich liebe dieses Intro. Auch wenn Melallica in die jahre gekommen ist und auch diese geile Band irgend wann mal aufhören muß. Sie sind jetzt schon eine Legende und immer noch mega gut. Und James? Best Metallica song since the Black Album.
I’ve been a big fan of Metallica and still am and will protect them from what haters say at all costs, I’m following them on instagram and that share their set lists for the shows they’ve done, the entire set lists are the same, it’s getting repetitive, this is an absolute banger but I want to see All Nightmare Long or The End Of The Line or perhaps a first with Suicide & Redemption, they got such an amazing arsenal of songs and tracks they don’t play unfortunately, I wish when they’ll be back to Europe in 2024 and even after Sweden when they’ll do a lot of shows in the US and NA in general they’ll use songs they haven’t used in A LONG time

Northen people a bit restrained on emotions. I've been to Finland 4 or 5 years ago on a metallica's live show. I've even seen fans with earplugs! I couldn't understand them but its their choice. I myself am from the counry which name is forbidden to pronounce )) And I even can't imagine what might be if the crowed have seen mister Hetfield in two meters!

Life lessons, "The Day That Never Comes" I loved this girl and wanted to marry her but I knew things would not work out and it would be best if we went our separate ways. Oddly enough I saw her again a few years later when this song came out.

Imo, it wouldn't hurt if they would play That Was Just Your Life, Suicide & Redemption, or All Nightmare Long instead of this one. It's easily the best song on the album, but those are amazing too. Why not change it from time to time?

It is possible to hold your phone filming and still look at the show? Then you also can look back at your video as a memory!
@@opticzz3279 maybe if you're only filming Lars. But to film the other three and not miss a frame without looking through the phone, damn near impossible. Another thing is, if you are filming to have a memory, then you are filming some shots to have, not almost entire show (inclusive opening bands!) to upload to RUclips. That's the problem with your TikTok generation, you do not comprehend what you have in front of you
