- Permanent Fix to Network Shared Printer Error After Windows Update
Important Note:
1. Know the user
winlogo + r and type "." (w/o the quote) as in dot only or period
2. Do this to the Server and Client
Server: Where the printer installed
Client: The computer who will connect to the printer
Step by Step guide
1. Check network sharing center - copy my settings
2. Share the printer
3. Download this files.
drive.google.c...
4. Run the 2 registry files
5. Go to Windows Drive "C:\Windows\System32" and look for win32spl.dll
6. Take ownership "watch the video"
7. Rename the win32spl.dll to win32spl_bak.dll or any file you want
8. Copy the win32spl.dll and paste it to "C:\Windows\System32"
9. In search bar type "turn on windows features"
10. Enable the .net framework 3.5 / 4.8 / smb 1.0
11. restart

Really superb. It was working 100%. HP LaserJet 1020 plus was in a shared network getting error and after this I had followed this video step by step on server and client pc.👌
But finally is this an end to this issue or else if every time when there is security windows 10 update and the same problem arise this should be executed?

Good day ! Thank you for the fix it solved my problem. I unfortunately did the same process to new computer with Windows 11, how do I reverse process ? 2nd thing that I picked up is now my "Microsoft Print to PDF" does not work anymore ? Any help in getting print to PDF up and running again ?

You can restoring it by going to windows features off/on, disable microsoft print to pdf and enable it back.

help me. Windows cannot connect to the printer. Some driver files are missing or incorrect. Reinstall the driver or try using the latest version.
will this work with windows 10 as well .. i meant do i have to do on the installed printer machine pc and the client machine same ( both runs on windows 10 )

Kung ang printer nasa windows 10, hindi muna need gawin sa windows 7. Windows 10 to Windows 10 lang. Thanks

If windows 11 user is connecting to the network printer, you need to this only to the host printer “windows 10” and no need to modify windows 11

Hindi ba nagana kapag direct ka mag connect sa windows 8? Kung hindi gumagana. Gawin mo ito sa windows 10.

Try this. In search menu open or run CMD in administrator. In cmd type this 2 command.
cd \Windows\System32\spool
-press enter key
Calcs.exe Printers /e /g administrator:c
- Press Enter key. You can copy and paste this command and then restart.
Should work. If issues persist, you may want to also execute the above, substitute your user name for "administrator" in this line:
