Today is your last chance to join the preorder for Rifles on the Danube!
Until the end of today, you can still join the Kickstarter for "Rifles on the Danube: Hungarian Kalashnikov Firearms 1959-2002". This is the last chance to get the discounted pre-order price, and to get the special Kickstarter cover. We are really excited to be part of publishing the book, as it is truly groundbreaking new material on Hungarian AKs. Hopefully with your help we will hit that final stretch goal and be able to include a shoot of Hungarian-themed and inspired cocktails with each Kickstarter Edition book!

We need a Small Arms of Elbonia book.
The People's Elbonia
i need this
Now you’ve got me wondering what weapons they were manufacturing domestically that made them look for outside sources.
I mean, considering that their major export crop is mud they may have stopped at catapults (the infandous Elbonian Mudslinger series) and decided to start importing matchlocks as soon as they were invented…
Hungary, Elbonia samey-same.
Rest assured HeadStomp Publisizing has it in the works.
I shared the book with
as many Hungarian American organizations that I know. I'm so happy and proud to share this book. Can hardly wait for its release.
Good idea
Thanks!

Thank you very much again for trying to improve our knowledge of AK’s along with a thanks to everyone involved in providing support to bring this project to completion.
Bless you Ian. Thank you for promoting literacy for the AK enjoyers. Poor wretched devils. 🙏
Ian, you missed your chance to include a Goulash recipe list as a stretch goal.
Un bon porkolt avec les petites nokedli 😊
Max Popenker AK book when?
Never, unfortunately. The Russian invasion of Ukraine killed it; Max is not allowed to work with a western publisher at risk of prosecution.
@@ForgottenWeaponsJesus that is bleak. Was looking forward to that.
@@TheTrueNorth11A lot of us were !
Thank you for asking. I had been wondering myself. The answer is unfortunate but not unexpected.
@@ForgottenWeapons that's a real bummer, especially for Max.
Im Hungarian and a big lover of weapons, much thanks for shining light on my small nation! You did a great work!
Edit: also wondering if you could take a look at the new lineup of modern hungarian self made weapons, i believe they look interesting.
Such a fantastic subject! Really appreciate the work that went in to this project
Did they fix the coat of arms? Blue with red background is the Slovak one.
Magyar kalasnyikov go brrrrrrr
Can't wait to add it to my collection😁
Just put in my order. Need Hungarian book and drink. 😉
Less than 7k dollars away from that last stretch goal, with around nine hours left to go. Here's hoping that once the Americans get back from work they'll get us over that last line; at this point it would be quite a bummer if we didn't make it.
Got mine!
Already supported 🎉
When are we going to test fire the self-priming flintlock musket? I want to confirm the myth of 6 shoots a minute using those kind of muskets.
Good, Thx
We need a book about east german and polish ak rifles including the beryl.
1:38 that looks like a draginoon
Ak for life🐸🍺🔪🔥
Any word on the suppressor book?
Nothing specific. It will happen, but I don't know when.
@ForgottenWeapons Thank you very much for your reply. I am looking forward to it. Keep up the amazing work!
Oh man. We are just less than 6.5k short.
Almost there!
I like this book❤, but thats too expensive for me
Rifles on the Danube - filed under "obscure" 😂
Could u fire the Japanese type 4 rifle?
I love aks i love aks I loooove aks i love aks!
Far too high a price point.
I don't care how many years someone has contributed, that's too expensive for a book.
$118 is a pittance for knowledge. I've spent far more than that on other books.
