Badlands is a hidden treasure in American rock’n roll history. Jake E Lee is not only one of best guitar player but also the one of the best song writer in rock music scene within my knowledge. There is no song that makes you discourraged. And I cannot emphasize enough about the soulfulness of vocalist, Ray Gillen's style of singing in this band. A few years later, Badlands broke up. Ray was fired by the band and died young because of his disease.

Phenomenal show! I saw this tour at the westchester county center in white plains, NY August 22, 1989 with many of my good high school friends. Pretty much everyone from the area was there. Similar setlist. LOUD as HELL, and AWESOME! Tickets were $18.50. I graduated high school in the same venue June of that same year 😂😂😂😂😂😂 Badlands is one of the best unsung hard rock bands EVER! Jake E Lee Forever!!!!!!!

Let me point out that those chicks also had sex with him unprotected don't be so sexist and blame the man women have to take responsibility for their own bodies. Also Jake has no idea how he got aids, it very easily could have been with one of those chicks that he screwed.. or someone he was sharing needles with gave it to him such as his uncle can't blame him for everything... However once he was diagnosed and continued having sex unprotected that was not cool and what got him in trouble.but from what I've read he seemed to be in total denial about having AIDS at all
