Wicked to see Layton getting some recognition. SRV knew how lucky he was with his band 100%. Seeing Chris in a context where he's required to stretch his legs a bit more in terms of song styles is very cool. Makes you appreciate how well rounded a musician he is! What a groovy drummer too. Tones of pocket, can pull out the flashy fills if it suits, but sits back in the beat and just pushes the songs along. Bands are only as good as their drummer and us guitarists, we dream of having a drummer of his caliber to play off!

Kenny plays almost NOTHING like SRV....his use of "similar" blues licks is coincidentally standard within the genre. If Kenny sounds anything like someone else it's Johnny Winter!....Johnny played a lot more slide based stuff, but the style is unmistakable...the TONE is slightly different due to the difference in instruments, but the Bridge humbucker is COMPLETELY different from Stevie's "cleaner " tone, and when Kenny starts to wail his technique and choice of phrasing in no way resembles anything Stevie would pull out of his hat.
Have become a huge fan of this amazingly talented band. And they play like a band, Noah Hunt is perfect compliment to KWS. It's also awesome to have Chris Layton on drums. Going to see them in a couple months.

I have tickets to see him tonight in Ft. Pierce Florida. Been a fan for many years but never managed to see him live. Recently saw Walter Trout and Joe Bonamassa. We'll see how he compares. I am sure I won't be disappointed.
I saw them backing Van Halen when Gary Cherone was lead singer. Set was too short...sounded great. Sweaty Ted Nugent was the first band. Great set with an awesome band.

Soz...probably laughing...it’s like an impersonation tribute band...like the Elvis lot! Yes K is technically good but please let’s get real...no matter how much people want to see k as carrying on his torch....he’s playing at it, no disrespect to kennys playing ...it’s sometimes a tad ridiculous. I really tried to like him but he bores me. The long haired guy, Noah is just weird ....looks uncomfortable a lot of the time then K goes into his fake ‘channelling’ mode, mouth gaping, eyes closed like Stevie but it doesn’t ring true...he’s still there acting the part...an now the hat!!! Omg he’ll be doing Stevies hunched shuffle next....think poor Chris is looking to capture the glory days of Double Trouble but it just isn’t. K was lucky to get him. Last concert I also noticed K shouting at the end of a song “thankyou very much” EXACTLY in the same intonation as Stevie, pretty sad. But he’s popular...good luck to him but KWS...IS NOT SRV, It’s KennyWants to be Stevie....even using his 3 initials...why!!? Stevie admired Hendrix but never called himself Vaughan & dress/act like him....he developed his own very distinct style while paying homage to him & others, Kenny is trying to be Stevie...rock on K 🤤😴
I've seen him twice, the second time, in Boston, an outdoor pavilion with B. B. King and Incubus. I swear to my dying day, Kenny Wayne Shepherd made me see God.

Well said Kerry, carefree days of our youth, 👍
Eres un fino guitarrista y tu banda es excepcional y este concierto es fabuloso. Felicidades
I've been following Kenny since he was 18 years old. He's f@cking' awesome.
“Hard to stumble when you’re down on your knees.” Love it! God bless y’all!
I WANT YOU. What a GREAT Song. All the solos in this song just BURN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!
The groove is SUPERB!
Totally agree with kenny is underated etc!The guy is a ruthlessly powerful musician You have got the guy buddy
Great performance. Heat Of The Sun....awesome !!!!!
Wow !!! Great Show, I've heard shame, shame, shame in a couple different shows but this version just ROCKS. Thanks for the post.
Not to not talk about Kenny BTW, he's obviously a huge talent and frankly everyone in his band is killing it here! Great show. 👍👏👏👏👏👏😎
Best live release of this dreadful year by a mile.....and now it's out on blue ray! Thank you KWS!
You have to listen to the whole album to appreciate the music and the artist.
KWS , Noah Hunt and the band are such an infectious groove it makes you obsessed with this music 🎶
Whawwwww..SUPER concert de Kenny.....avec de fameux musiciens...
I love a human who wants nor expects nothing however the MUSIC...PRICELESS...AND FOR THAT I THANK YOU AND THE BAND.INPECIBLE CONCERT! THANK YOU❤
Interesting concert, good arrangement of songs, additional guitar, saxophone and trumpet are very good. Didn't know Kenny Wayne Shepherd was singing? Nice.
No matter if it is a newer or older video KWS always rocks this song.
The horn section needs to be mentioned here!
I am a lovin your thinkin
Toot-toot! 😂
Yeah, everybody in this band is kicking it!
Them boy's are little sweetheart 's.❤
right & let's not forget about Chris just kicken it back there quietly holding it down.
I don't usually like a horn section, except for a saxophone, but you're right, they were exceptional.
Saw Kenny live for the first time about 20 years ago. STILL SOUNDING GREAT 👍
Woah...i thunk he was 20❤
Man!! Who is this!! I’m in love with his look, his sound & his bad ass attitude ‼️💞‼️
I heard them on utube one time before they’re great very entertaining, hard-working group. Thanks for sharing them with us out here in South Alabama, USA.☮️❤️
I have tickets to see him tonight in Ft. Pierce Florida.
Been a fan for many years but never managed to see him live.
Recently saw Walter Trout and Joe Bonamassa.
We'll see how he compares. I am sure I won't be disappointed.
Saw him on Wednesday in Ft Myers.
Great show, he’s right there with Joe B .
Eric put on a great show too.
Enjoy it.
I just want to listen one or tow songs cause it's late tonight but I fall in the full show really great a lot of soul blues rock and talent here
saw this guy open for zz top bearly 20 years ago, been a huge fan since i was was 15!
I saw them backing Van Halen when Gary Cherone was lead singer. Set was too short...sounded great. Sweaty Ted Nugent was the first band. Great set with an awesome band.
LUCKY YOU❤
I listen You, and I can't help but think that everything you transmit is incredibly intense and beautiful, it may be that I was born in the 50s and I grew up on bread and rock and blues !! Thank you very much!!
Thx for releasing this on CD/DVD. Unforgetable concert - even I wasn`t there ;P
Love, love, LOVE this concert!!!!
It just doesn't get any better keep it up Kenny and the rest of the band
Great band, great voice from mr Hunt. And one cool bassist right there,,, no big deal.

@@margaretstoner4701 I meant Noah
Watching on my Focal home system and it does sound freak’n amazing, and yes I’ve seen them maybe 6 years ago I believe 😎🤘👌
@@leonsam12 OMG Focal? U must be in HEAVEN!
Eine Mega Band, ich liebe sie seit Jahren. ;-)
Increible recital. Gracias por compartir!!! 🤘🤘
Kenny Wayne, Noah Hunt,, Cris Layton.. years and years being together.. SRV is smiling while he hears this band.
I've seen him 3 times, in support of Joe Walsh in 2011, with Experience Hendrix in 2014, and as a headliner in 2017. All great shows!
Wow!! This is great stuff...Bravo Kenny Wayne! Killin' it man...(Hard to go wrong with Chris Layton back there as well...)
Wow great performance ❤
You got Chris on the drums!
Hell yeah
SRV 4 LIFE
I've seen him twice, the second time, in Boston, an outdoor pavilion with B. B. King and Incubus.
I swear to my dying day, Kenny Wayne Shepherd made me see God.
Great job fantastic band. I love to hear all of you.
First time I've listened to KWS with horns. I love it
Perfect concert, a lot of maturity, he's part of the top ten of the greatest guitarists
KWS Band Is One Of My All Time Favorites..This Stuff Will Reset Your Soul..Nothin Like Some KWS Band And A Cold One To Start The Weekend..🤘🎸🤘
Nonstop blistering blues-rock just like I like it! KWS & band bring it big time.
