Thanks for watching!
That is one sweet Mustang and sounds as sexy as it looks!!
Its hard to miss LOL thanks for watching!
This channel is so underrated
Thanks for watching!
Clean car! That yellow is a head turner. Would the long tubes have brought the torque closer to 450?
I would think so too. I'm not saying shorties are as bad as the stove pipes it came with I'm just saying long tubes give it more breathing.
Yes long tubes are the way to go if you are looking for max TQ and trying to get to that 450 tq.
sweet ride and impressive numbers,,,add 4.10 gears lol
For sure!
Nice 👍🏽 modern look 👀 with classic style 🎉 3 v the best looking mustang ever jejej 😅
Glad you like it!
Hey Brent, hope you see this comment! Couple things I'd really like to know:
1) What colder plugs do you pair with these kits, specifically when they're built and making over 600 wheel?
2) Looks like this Mustang has an aftermarket radiator installed as well - do you ever run into fitment issues when combining larger radiators with Vortech kits?
Thank you 🙏🙏
So on a stock engine with boost we typically would always use a Brisk 1 step colder. If it is a built engine with big boost we would go 2 steps colder. Yes we use larger radiators in 3V with Vortech & Paxton but we typically need to trim the fan shroud because the larger radiator will push the fan a bit towards the supercharger. It is tight but some plastic trimming on the fan shroud will solve any clearance issues. THANKS!
@@BrenspeedEngineering Thank you Brent!! One more if you have time: do you ever step up the fuel line diameter? I'm thinking of running AN8 from the hat to the rails.
Is there any way we can see some of these three valves on the road doing some pulls. It's so hard to find on RUclips
@Brent ..I have the vortech throwback package on my 06’ ya’ll (brenspeed) installed 4 or 5 years ago. You dynoed it at 427hp. I’m still running stock cams. I want the choppiest, nastiest sounding cam u have, my main concern is sound. I also want to have a 3000ish stahl converter installed on my transmission to help stay in powerband. What would be your suggested cams and stahl converter combination? Oh yeah, I have long tube bbk headers with xpipe, that will be installed with it, if that matters. I know my question is unrelated to this video. Thank you, for the video and all the knowledge you share here.
So what I have found over all the years is mufflers and exhaust will play a huge roll on chop. You can have the biggest cam but if you have a lot of restrictions it is not that noticeable. I love Detroit rockers because of the chop, low end, and nice 25-30 HP gain. Most people go with those. A thumpr has a big chop but the drivability is bucky and gets annoying and the low end is not as much. If you open up the exhaust you can get a good chop with Rockers like in this video. I think that car had Pypes mufflers possibly a Pypes muffler delete if I remember right. The best stall converter is by Circle D. You pay for it vs cheap converters but they produce better results.
@@BrenspeedEngineering That all makes perfect sense now. Thank you for the info and sharing your knowledge. I appreciate ya!! I should be calling for a quote here soon.
Nice 👍🏻…😎
Thanks for the visit
can a 2200 be used with a power cooler? great video fellas
The 2200 comes with an air to air intercooler. Not sure what you mean by power cooler. If you mean a Vortech Charge Cooler you could likely get a Vortech kit with that and have the head unit switched to a 2200 on a custom build set up. BUT the air to air works great with a 2200 and it comes with it.
@@BrenspeedEngineering I currently have the v3 ho setup water cooled I was just wondering if all I had to do was switch head units … thanks
Hi Brent, what would be the best modification for the supercharger between the Ford Racing Manifold and the Delete Plate? The car already have bbk 62mm, hot rod performance cams, long tube headers.
Underdrive pulleys hurt blower cars!! In performance .
Common knowledge, from past brenspeed videos.
@@metalted6128 i know, i have to go back with the stock pulleys. I dont have already the supercharger in the car
The FRPP intake will take better advantage of your cams at high RPM plus I love the way it looks. Delete plates are a good mod for sure but the FRPP intake would be a better high RPM choice with the cams.
@@BrenspeedEngineering awesome thanks
How many miles???
I think that was 64k
For the stock auto trans isn’t that too much hp?
i would rather have a standard
@@robertswift6101 dope
Almost every car running our turn key package has a stock 5R55. No trans even a manual is rated for much more than stock but they will hold up if you do not abuse it to much. By abuse it I do not mean wide open. What the 5R does not like is rolling in 5th and hitting big boost and it shifts into 2nd or 3rd it is almost like a neutral drop. Same with crazy burn outs letting it upshift like crazy during the burn out then the car grabs and it downshifts. That is the hardest thing on a 5R trans. You are far better off when doing that stuff manually shifting it or turning off OD so it does not downshift so much.
@@BrenspeedEngineering i’ve had my Novi 2200 installed by you guys a little over 12,000 miles ago. So far transmissions holding up knock on wood I would like to upgrade the transmission before the rear end Brett would you recommend a 6R 80 conversion . or a level 10 5R . I like the idea of the six speed due to the 410 gears. Will probably be my next install with you guys.
3 valves are a waste of time and money.
To you maybe, but for people who like 3Vs it’s worth it
Modifying your car in general would be considered waste of money to most. It all depends what you like. I have Coyote and 3V and love both. I like the 3V looks better than say my Gen 3 coyote (to me) but the Gen 3 obviously makes way more power easier and can run 10's just bolting a blower and tires. Always depends on a persons goals and believe it or not not all goals are about peak HP. Thanks for watching!!!
When I changed out my engine I stayed with the 3valve because I love the sound and just couldn't jump the ship for a coyote I'm too loyal with my 3valve.
