@@Realreal12345 That's a good point, but bad engineers are usually caught on the Technical phase not on the HR phase. HR phase is where the people with a lack of experience or interesting project get filter out.
In all my life I have never seen such picky companies even for low-wage jobs we indeed have a lack of jobs crisis on our hands worse than any this country has ever witnessed.
California is very picky with me.. I’m in a sense still new to California and I’m getting my state ID soon but it’s been over 7 months and I only had a total of 5 job Interviews…
Exactly now the company doesn't have to hear you wine that you needed off next Friday or that you need a loan and more hours for more money because you want kids and a house .
I don't understand how ton of people suddenly have AI expert in their resume/profile now who were probably a defi, crypto or cloud expert couple of years back. Did they all become AI expert within a year or so? Fun fact is they all seem to be getting hired quickly for big bucks. One person even told me it's how you hustle. I guess if certain favourite people lie it's called hustling while some others will be called out even if they omit some info or rejected as lying.
There is no jobs around even when they claim they are hiring they wont

Not just AI, it is also offsore workers. AI work is just stupid. WHY would you train your future replacement?

Every one is using templates. Its like the music industry, copy paste and now ai is better. Capatalism has turned it into a swap meat
