I found a penguin ice bucket!! I’m from a tiny beach town in New Zealand called Whangamatā and I went into a little second hand store and it was sitting up front and centre in the middle of the store

If you ever find yourself in the LA area over the first Sunday of any month- check out Pasadena City College Flea Market. It's smaller but super vintage-y and doable and I always find fun treasures.

There’s a big antique, vintage flea market in Sacramento, California. It looks wonderful and a great spot to find treasures.

You need to go to the PCC flea market. Its right down the street from the Rose Bowl. Its so aweome. Its usually held on the same day as The Rose Bowl flea market. Its pretty big and its free. The prices are way more reasonable. They have great furniture, clothing, jewelry and lots and lots of real cool stuff.
Every time I go I miss it 😂 Top of my list for the next time we go down to visit family!

Great Haul, Laura. Brings back memories of going to Pasadena with my mother in law many years ago. She was a newly widow and always wanted to see how they made the floats for the Rose Bowl Parade. She wS willingness to take whole family but no one wanted to go. My hubby asked me to go with mom and I did. It was a very nice trip, having a New Years dinner on the Queen Mary.
My brother took my Mom on a beautiful cruise on the Queen Mary. She had the time of her life.
Dang, I should have seen this when it was current. My birth year us 1956, maybe it woulda gave me some luck!
It was so much fun to shop along with you😀. My husband and I found a vintage orange Preway fireplace and we love it! It’s such an iconic piece and it fits perfectly in our mid century modern Colorado mountain home. Have a super weekend……..Cheers!
HOLY COW!! My sister’s daughter was married to Carl Tasha!!! Sadly he has passed away. He was a very nice quiet man. I can’t believe you mentioned Carl!!! Unless there are two Carl Tasha’s in Provincetown (maybe a nephew)? But I do know that this is the work that he did.

Interesting how the prices are higher on the west coast. And since I was a child of the 60-70s I cannot believe how much of this I pitched when I moved. Omg, I had those jeans with the rainbow, curvy thread design on the waist and legs (4:31) in the late 70's! I think they're buried in my attic somewhere still, as I was too sentimental about them to get rid of them. 😉

Fun video but what stood out to me wasnt the Rose Bowl, even though I would love to go but, the view in your Livingroom was absolutely beautiful. How wonderful to feel like you are in the trees and everytime the season changes to see such a great view. So pretty.

Loved the shop along! I haven’t been to the Rose Bowl flea in years as I usually opt for some of the smaller markets in the area, like Long Beach and Topanga. Seeing the gorgeous turquoise pieces you picked up, I may have to give it a visit soon. 😍

Yeah the parking is free maybe she parked at some premier parking? Long Beach flea market is free, you only pay for the entrance..
@@leftcoastrevivals Alameda Antique Fair in the Bay Area doesn't charge parking. It's the first Sunday of the month.

Love this trip video! I have been by the Rose Bowl but the flea market wasn’t open when we were there. I wished it would have been. I loved flea market shopping! Now I have a hard time just walking due to my hip. Had one hip replacement, waiting on the next one. I miss those days! Great job, Laura!👍🥰💜
