I just ordered one, 22mph is pretty good for a little pontoon, what RPM is it running maxed out? I’m wondering if going up an inch in pitch will increase the top speed a little, and lower the RPM a little at cruising speeds.
@@emkayusa running at 5800 rpm with three people. I ran it again over the weekend with 7 people and maxed at around 15 mph at 5200 rpm. Backing off to 4500 only dropped to 14 mph. I think it came with the black max prop.
Keith Morrison Another question, sorry. What’s the speed at 4500 with 3 people? That’s what I would usually have on mine. I’ll miss the speed of my 60hp Starcraft aluminum boat, but not the pounding ride in any chop or wakes. It went 25 at 4500 and 35 at 6000.
I have this same boat with a 50hp and it will run 22 mph at full throttle. The other motor option is typically a 20 HP.

What size motor is that? Any idea on speed?
They have 20,40,or 50 hp options.
