- Picking up from the bloody events in New Orleans in 1940 when Louis and Claudia conspired to kill Lestat, Louis tells of his adventures in Europe, a quest to discover Old World Vampires, and the Theatre Des Vampires in Paris. It is in Paris that Louis first meets the Vampire Armand. Their courtship and love affair will prove to have devastating consequences both in the past and in the future, and Molloy will probe to get to the truths buried within the memories.

People tell me that I’m a “Larger than Life person,” but I don’t see myself this way, but I’ve one living ex who stalks me after 20yrs, even performing “sex magic” on me as I’m threatened with via other people who knows him and email which I changed multiple times plus I carry CCW with weapon. @@shippendales8543 SPOILERS about Claudia from the 1994 movie..... In the movie Claudia and Madeleine were put in a room and the Sun burned and killed them. I just wonder in the show will they die in a similar fashion or die by other means? it's gonna be heartbreaking regardless😢

Damn... that one actually really hurt. Just like the book(s). Phenomenal
Edit: I've already re-watched it so many times... Armand describing Lestat as a "hurricane", couldn't be more appropriate. (most likely Armand) shattering the bookcase over Daniels head, and letting the pieces fall all around him = shattering delusions, shattering facades, etc. Louis over Santiago looking like he's about to rip his tongue out, while Armand puts the rest of the theatre to sleep at the table. Louis' desperate attempt to tear himself away from his companions so that he can find himself outside of THEM... and oh got the yellow dress THE YELLOW DRESS. I'm not even joking, I just started crying the moment I saw that yellow dress. If you know, you know. I can tell you right now, as a hardcore book fan, for the majority of my life now, this is already *FAR* exceeding every other expectation I had. I had no doubt it would, but the proof of it, before the season has even started is both excessively thrilling, and overwhelmingly terrifying at the same time. So many casual viewers are simply not going to be ready.
Now excuse me while I watch this, at multiple different speeds. And over-analyze and pick it apart down to it's atoms, obsessively... Until S2EP1 airs 👌🏽👋🏽

Yep! Looks like they're even going to recreate the trial scene. The movie version got this part so wrong. I'm glad they're staying true to the book by having Lestat there (in the book it was excruciating reading how both Louis and Lestat could do nothing to save Claudia, plus Lestat was in a weakened state, then Armand weakens him even more😔). The entire fallout from this event in the book makes me roll my eyes at Louis calling Armand the love of his life lol. That had to sarcasm, or he's being manipulated. Armand wanted Louis but him letting Claudia die killed the Louis he fell for.
That yellow dress! I’m not going to emotionally handle that scene well.😭

But the sheer heinousnous of what Armand (and his coven) did to Claudia and Louis, and what Armand did to Lestat. The disturbingness of it... the tragedy of it all, the painful soul crushing tragedy of that whole event. I just know it'll destroy me. That's why I honestly feel for legit Claudia fans, especially those who have only watched the this series. Its really gonna mess them up. If I'm not ready for it, and I know what's gonna happen there. Then they definitely aren't 😬☠️

I believe the score is from Werner Herzog's version of 'Nosferatu' - which is a beautiful movie as well.

Continued proof that the show runners know EXACTLY what they're doing and paying the proper homage to the source material, unlike the other show in the "universe" that did nothing but profane it. Interview was always from the point of Louis, which is why this trailer is absolutely perfect. Jacob perfectly understands the suffering that is Louis, and Sam perfectly understands the brat prince that is Lestat.
Im literally floating right now like Armand in that library with excitement. 🤯

Bravo! Season 1 was one of the most beautifully made television shows I have ever watched. It lingers with you for days after watching an episode. Brilliant job by cast, crew, writers, production and all the hard working teams behind-the-scenes! I was very surprised it didn't receive any nominations during awards season last year. I hope this show garners more attention down the road. It's worthy of the same mainstream praise as some of the other big shows of the moment.
