Was watching one of your videos when my wife asked who you were and explained how you started from doing gear reviews and demos to now being involved with two established bands and having your own brand of guitars and still humble enough to stick to doing reviews, demos and the such, had her impressed and was a fun reminder, with all your accomplishments you have achieved, that things like this still are possible. Keep up the good work and I hope all things in your personal life are just as successful as your professional life. Also, I do plan on buying a Solar guitar as my next guitar purchase. Keep it up.

The Solar Type G almost didn't happen because of a few failed headstock shapes until settling on the standard Solar headstock. Can you share with us some of these headstock shapes that didn't make the cut? It would be interesting to see the Solar design process at work. See you on Discord!

How do you deal with your tinnitus? Has it gotten worse due to your musical activity? How loud do you rehearse with your bands?
I can answer this! Sleep with a fan and wear earplugs. There ain't no going back, bud.
Ive had tinnitus since 7 brain surgeries and it's not terribly bad but still annoying! Of course my love for guitar playing and concerts dont help either but it's pretty much a norm everyday
@@BiggestKornFan1993 I discovered mine fairly recently and I think I have to give up on playing live and rehearsing. My band can't be bothered to play at lower volume so it's on me. For now it's mild but it's there.

Hey Ola, I love your videos and everything you have contributed to the metal community. However, I couldn't help but remember when you were with SFU in 2012 and you were able to sign a red jazz III size pick no problem when I asked you to do so in Detroit at Harpos. The neck plate from a cheap flying v copy was a different story though. Thanks for putting up with my awkwardness then!

Hello, Ola! I'm a relatively new subscriber and I just ordered your solo album (the guitarist edition) yesterday. I just wanted to say that I really enjoy your content. You and I are the same age and we started playing guitar around the same time. I started playing in 1996 when I was 15. I used to play a lot of rock and metal when I was in my late teens and early twenties. However, in recent years, I got really bored playing the same old chords and scales all the time so I began branching out into other genres that I never really paid any attention to before; specifically, fingerstyle acoustic. One of my favorite videos of yours is the one where you played your acoustic guitar through the Boss GT 1000. Any plans to incorporate more of that kind of sound into future projects (like another solo album, perhaps)? Much love to you and your family from Maryland, USA.

As a drummer, I love watching your display of knob tweaking tenacity and string plucking powers. Love the new album too. One question: As tech evolves, I find myself not being able to discern between super authentic programmable drum tracks and edited live drums. What is your opinion of working with a live drummer versus programmable drums? Also, where did you get that super life-like wig?

Hi Ola! I personally have a 6505 piranha that takes dust at home because I think it needs to have a signal booster before the preamp. Gain at max is not enough. But the tone is great. Lamp pramp and transistor power amp.

Hi Ola, do you find it hard to stay interested in bands that have multiple singer changes? No two singers are identical, so it really changes a band’s sound imo. Thanks for the amazing content week after week, really enjoy all of it.

Visited Stockholm a few years ago, I lived in Germany becase of military and am a California native, I could definitely see myself living there. I love the layout of the city. It's pretty expensive though as an outsider, compared to Germany even.
Hey Ola, I bought a Solar E2.6. In TBR. The guitar is amazing and sounds better than any other I own. Are the Duncan pickups specifically designed for Solar, if so what is a close second from Duncan that I can throw in my Jackson? Thanks from Vancouver Canada
I highly recommend the G50 over G30 because of the metal transmitter and sturdier receiver. Had gigs with both and the G50 holds better over time.
