Y'all hiring?
I watched Jamie talked the whole 7mins , I did not mind it at all . He is the engineer and the technical person on the job site .
Agreed
I could listen all day !
I agree, I look forward to his insights
Same, great tips.
As a fellow engineer, woodworker, and perfectionist I enjoy hearing what Jamie has to say!😂
Thumbs up for letting Jamie talk!
Honestly I want to thank you for the 7 minutes of Jamie talking and explaining cause I've come across that same situation and got frustrated with my inability to figure it out
THank you for letting Jamie talk!
WOW , Jamies got talent on the drums !!!! Let the man play !
Let Jaime play! ...and talk
Absolute thumbs up to giving Jaime that 6 minute segment. He is a pleasure to listen to and he is certainly smart.
Thank you.
JAMIE NEEDS MORE RUclips TIMES THIS MAN IS THE GOAT.THUMPS UP FOR JAMIE
Jammie need his own channel or some Floatplane exclusives.
Also, they need to make a Floatplane account.
As a detail guy myself, I think my favorite parts of your videos are when Jamie gets to talk uninterrupted about the ins and outs of his process 😃 great episode as always
Yes. Uninterrupted.
Finally he got to talk! I don’t think anybody stopped watching
Jamie, you're the best!! You too Erick, but this time, Jamie knocked it out of the park!!
Jamie’s “this could get a little in-depth”. You could hear Erik’s eyes rolling !
#letjamietalk
That needs to be on a t shirt! #letjamietalk
Thanks for letting Jaime talk
I have to admit it: Jaime is the Tommy Silva (This Old House fame) of the channel. Arlo is awesome and knows a million tricks, yet Jaime can hold his own against anyone! Give that man a raise!! 😀
Hey thanks
Best episode in a long time! Erik - Thanks for letting Jaime talk!!
I laughed so loud regarding 4 men to one woman's brain my husband came out of his office to ask what was so funny. He said, "It's going to take more than 4!" 🤣 Not a video goes by without a great laugh....not to mention the knowledge and great tips. Thank you!
Every job I work on I always go to the wife for final approval on everything I do.... I just bypass the husband! :)
@@PaulMikna 😂👍🏻
Yes, I listened with rapt attention to all that Jamie had to say and I think it was well worth the listen. Please let Jamie talk more. I would rather have longer videos. Even his dad jokes are good.
You tease Jamie, but the information he provided is great! Thanks to all of you, love your videos.
all of you people raised $63,000 for Arlo Retirement Fund!!!!!!!!! that is an amazing gift for someone you dont know and will never speak to in person. truly remarkable.
class act for the Perkins Boys to use their platform to reward a good man.
learned a lot from you Arlo, thanks and........take it easy!!
Loved Jamie's 7 minutes. He explains well enough that anyone can follow. Thanks, Eric for leaving it in. :D
I love Jaime , he is a wealth of knowledge. Jaime keep sharing, and please give him more air time to teach us DIYers.
Hey thanks, you are very kind
I am not a builder or anything like it but watched Jamie talked for whole 7 minutes and loved it.
I’ve been watching this channel for years, never missed an episode. I love Jaimie talking and all the others making fun. The best part of the whole thing is the conversation, the companionship, the clear respect for one another. That is the magic of this channel.
Thanks for watching!
Just an FYI, we like listening to Jamie because you cannot fake how much he cares about doing something better, safer or easier. A true professional teacher. Simply put, he cares.
Id really love to see a channel for Jaime with all his tips and tricks and like tutorials on how to do simple forms of home repairs like hanginig shelfs doing drywall etc for those of us who never had that type of knowledge growing up please recommend this to him
I see a new merch item. Tshirt that says " What Would Arlo Do ?"
I’d buy that
Or “ Channel your inner Arlo!”
Yes- for Fathers Day please!
Uhhh Mothers Day comes first and we quote Arlo too…
4 men=1 women
But 1 Arlo = 99% of a woman he’s almost perfect but that thing that make him Arlo and makes him The Wizard that’s that magic 1%
@@janettedarlington4152 I don't have a mother
Yes to letting Jaime talk! Love learning from him
Towards the end. Jamie's masterclass was awesome. The blocking for the blocking is such a simple idea. As a DIY'er, it's another arrow in my quiver. And we're watching Erik. We're watching! :) PS @13:54 Jamie can PLAY!!! It was like instant head nodding along kind of a groove.
One major thing I enjoy about your content is the “brotherhood” atmosphere. It’s infectious and enjoyable. Thanks.
Arlo would be proud….
Have a great day
John
When Jamie’s on site it feels like it’s the weekend and dads home all day, always nice!
The whole time he was talking I was thinking "The man's a southern Bob Vila." Thanks for letting Jamie talk!
I would have watched Jaime talk for another 6 minutes and 51 seconds.
I really appreciate Jamie giving construction advice.
Everyone loves Jamie!
I loved Jaime's 7 minutes of fun!
Arlo and Jamie was what got me hooked on the channel
We love Jamie and you should let him talk as much as he wants to.
Jamie, I don’t think you’re wrong about Arlo. He’s Proud of you boys and the whole crew. He’s Proud of himself for everything that he taught you boys and he’s Proud of a job well done 👍🏻 !! After every job, I noticed that Arlo would look everything over and inspect your work and he always gave you a seal of approval with his handshake 🤝.
I believe that he DID transfer you some of his Light 🤍 embedded with his Knowledge, Wisdom and Understanding at his Grandpa 👴🏻 Level of Life experience in existence. Jamie, I believe that you are the chosen one ☝🏻 that Arlo gifted 🎁 with Positive energy. He loves you like a Son. You and Eric and the boys are his family.
Thank you 🙏🏻 All for sharing your family, life, business, friendships, happiness, kindness, compassion and laughter and building videos with all of us. We appreciate you 🤍
Eric: you are an incredible story teller with a unique POV and interesting videos. Your dad may have been a hard ass, but he taught you values and how to build your own worth as a man. Good job 👏🏻 I hope you raise your son’s to build their own values as Good 👍🏻 men.
I watched Jamie talk the whole time, such a wealth of knowledge. Maybe you should let him talk a little more often 😂
Jamies talk was spectacular, magnificent, wonderful, awe-inspiring, awesome, astounding, astonishing, amazing, stunning, stupendous, incredible; thrilling, exciting; sensational, out of this world, fabulous, fantastic, supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, amazeballs; literary wondrous!
Thesaurus much?! 😂 But I agree with all of it!
@@charliesbestfriend1950 Copy and Paste are both my friends as well as Thesaurus
I watched the explanation that Jamie did perfectly, he is a jem. Y'all take care.
Congratulations Jamie
White Stripes is a rock band from my home state Detroit Michigan , and please let Jamie talk he is a beacon of knowledge !
TY FOR LETTING JAMIE TALK FOR THE BOYS
THANK YOU for letting Jamie talk! I love listening to his insights.
Eric don't be tough on your little brother. We love the seven minute PRO tips by Jamie..................
The amount of knowledge y'all have in those heads of yours is wild, loved the Jamie almost 7 min speech. Def need more than 4 man brains to get close to 1 woman though, I hope Arlo is enjoying his retirement coz he will def be missed. Have a great rest of the weekend folks.
7 mins of Jamie was excellent, and useful. Thank you!
Jamie about Arlo (whom we all greatly miss): “when he left he like shook my hand and I could I felt his power transfer to me”. YESSSS!!!
This was a great ‘Let Jamie talk show’
Best 7 minutes of my entire week...😄 #LetJamieTalk
i love when Jamie talks until, he's done. Should do that more often.
Thanks for letting Jamie talk.
I love Jaime’s monologues! 😂 and your channel and your tool belt
YO !!!! That's the best 7 mins of continuous talk from Jamie we've had 👍👌✌️👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Woo hoo! Thanks
“Retire in peace” 💀💀 loving this series once again!
Jamie has a teachers heart and an awesome attitude, listening to him is not difficult at all, in fact many if us enjoy it.
Go Jamie! Go Jamie! Love to hear Jamie go in depth about things. Being called Arlo Jr. would be an honor. Jamie, wear that crown well! Love to watch all of you guys! Don’t waste your time Eric editing too much out…we will watch longer videos ❤❤
Jamies 7min was golden! Funny how Erik made a completely dead silent TL just after it. 😂
Man I think most people agree. We love the way Jamie explains things! Keep them coming….. More Jamie!👍👍👍😎🇨🇱🇺🇸
Happy for Arlo. His knowledge can't be bought. He will be missed.
I think Jamie did a marvelous job with the in-depth procedure for that angled screw. Aspiring wood worker here and I think that gave me a good insight into that part of doing a job.
Ray had to make sure that corner was solid like jamie said.😂😂😂
He was not disappointed
Little Brother comes through like a Champ!!
Enjoyed Jamie talking. It was very educational. Thanks again!
I love it when Jamie talks. He’s very interesting
I learn so much carpentry skills from this channel. I used to be a carpenter before I went into the Air Force and for a time after I left the military. So I’ve learned a lot. Nothing compares to Perkins Builder brothers.
I think it's great I love when jamie explains things he is very thoughtful
I love the smooth jazz while Jamie smoothed out the glue. I think his tips are great, let him talk. I like listening to everyone and the dynamic is great! Even Jay sarcastically complaining about staining. lol
Loved the 7 minutes of Jamie. Very good. 20-27 minute video this Sunday was a treat. Thanks Eric can't wait to see your office. Looks very nice already. You guys have style!
Brads acting as clamps - straight outta Norm's book! Love it.
We really need a Jamie’s tips and tricks segment or channel. I love watching him explain.
I miss Arlo but laughed at the "Retire in Peace " remark. And not only did I watch all 7 minutes of Jamie's Bbocking tutorial I will be using his tips tomorrow.
Jamie, outstanding segment. Eric I think Jamie should do an extended detailed segment every video.
Rip
Arlo .. All hail AJ
Now Jamie need a Podcast, lets go boys!
Yay! Jamie got his moment to shine, finally!!! 😆 I love to listen to Jamie talk. He explains things thoroughly, and often throws in a Dad joke or pun for good measure. More Jamie talking! Love you guys, love all the good natured ribbing, love the projects, love the channel.
Love how Jay is really listening to Jamie explain the conditioner ❤
As relatively experienced professional carpenter, I have to say that toe screwing tutorial would be invaluable to anyone new to the profession and any homeowner.
Jamie explains and shows you how to problem solve building techniques just as remarkably as he plays the drums. Cheers for the swish edit on the reel Eric.
One of the added attractions of your new home office is that if you ever get thrown out of the house you got a place to stay!! Nice.
Guys I just wanted to thank you for wearing your PPE as young people watching and copy what you do. From an old safety guy.
Loved listening to Jamie talk for 7 minutes!!!! Let Jamie Talk !!!
Eric, your channel will grow if you let Jaime talk more often. I really think most people would love the well explained version of building, even if it's just some ceiling backing! Keep it up!
Perfect timing, taking a break from my chores to watch the Perkins brothers teach me a thing or two and have some laughs 😅😅😅😅
The World loves a smiling face…good job guys!
I enjoyed listening to Jaime the entire time and more. He has the best tips besides Arlo. Thanks Jamie I have learned so much from you and I am not even a builder my self.
#letjaimetalk! 🤣🤣🤣 But seriously, I really appreciate these mini tutorials that go in to the details like that. VERY useful info!
#LetJamieTalk
I loved Jamie's advice segment! I vote for a 7 minute segment by Jamie in almost every video.
Shiplapping that entire office shows the true hatred you have for drywall 😂😂😂 but I can’t argue I hate doing drywall just as much
I love when Jamie is explaining things. I just bought my first house and i'm learning a lot! Don't stop please!
As a carpenter/ cabinetmaker for 30 plus years and does at least on of these mitres every week 🤣I just wanted to give Jamie a small piece of my knowledge about mitre and glue corners etc. Use of it what you like 🤣. When cutting your mitre cut it 45.2 the reason you are getting gaps at the front is you basically aren't allowing for the build up of glue in mitre which is obviously needed. When I glue them together I put them down with no glue points to points and put masking tape doubled up or good vinyl tape every 2" or 50mm across the two pieces , pulling the points together where needed along the whole length. Then I lift the whole thing and close the mitre still dry. Leave it down on the surface tape down and fold the mitre open put glue on one mitre the whole way and in the points, a little glue goes a long way don't over glue it. When all glue is applied fold back together and check your mitre is square and use more tape right around the whole piece in various places to hold until glue is dry usually in about 1 hour here in Northern Ireland 🤣 hope this is of use Jamie try it on a piece of scrap first .P.S you will notice I haven't used any nails 😉Good luck. Michael
jaime on the drums 😍 and sharing info for 7 minutes straight. yes, please, thank you
Thanks for letting Jamie talk, I like listening to him!
Jamie, your a good teacher. I learn from your short cut ways. Very helpful :)
I love Jamie's detail explanations. Hes the best
AJ is a great nickname. Arlo Junior, Apprentice Jaymie, Always Jabbering. The list goes on! 😂
I appreciate Jaime’s tips, I’m sure we all do. Thanks to the Perkins team!!!
Love the lesson from Jamie
