I was there late June 2018 to see my New Vantage being assembled. What an awesome experience, I even recognize some of the people in this video that I met that day.
Very few people are using safety glasses, up to the 8 minute mark. I hope they carry great insurance. Nobody is wearing a safety hard hat when objects are being lifting or flipt above heads. They should use HOT WHITE lighting not COOL WHITE. Those Transmission gear housings and the Drive shaft housing should be fabricated from MAGNESIUM and that would remove 75% of the weight they are made of now. That means 400 pounds of steel to be replaced by 100 pounds of Magnesium.... Magnesium have been drastically improved since 2010. All Aston Martins DB's and Vanrages weigh 300 to 500 pounds more than they should.
Silicone based glues do not crack and are impervious to heat and weathering. The welds on regular steel based chassis will fail long before the adhesive will. Almost all composite structures are built this way including aircraft and Formula 1 cars. They're not building Vauxhall Astras here.
TBH comparing this vid to the ones from Porsche, Audi or even the Toyota Prius factory in Japan they look very sloppy sometimes or not too technological advanced. Maybe a British thing?
Only the new V8 'engines' are MB. V12 is still AM and all preceding engines are AM (AM versions of certain Jaguar units). They're very far from a 'glorified coachbuilder'. No more so than Pagani.

Love watching cars being built from the ground up , just relaxing to watch
Es una maravilla trabajar en este tipo de industria. Yo colaboro con General Motors en México

Good product
I want work in this company, this is my dream.
Y el motor impulso gravitacional , pa cuando .☝👽
Wonderful
Amazing 👏
Só máquinas em 👏👏
They glued every part like it’s a school project
This is shop class. But instead of bird houses, it's overpriced unreliable cars.
@@torquemada1971 unreliable? My 12 year old Vantage has been more reliable than both my BMW and Audi
the amount of epoxy used here is enough to fix my life together
But not enough to mend my shattered childhood.
I should be on the Guiness book due to the amount of drooling I just did.
Why is everything glued on?
Because otherwise it would fall apart! ;-)
Because it's made of composite materials.
😍
Glue will eventually dry out crack and fall apart . Then you buy a new car . That’s why the Company is owned by Tata motors of India 🇮🇳.
They belonged to Ford until 2007 it seems to me. Since Aston Martin has owned Prodrive, a British car maker
It's actually Jaguar Land Rover which is the property of Tata motors :D

I wonder do they get a car for free after a certain amount of time for working there ?
no you dont
Yes a 1/18th scale model.

Yeah tasteless cars are usually made on quick production lines
,👌
I loved this company but with a Mercedes engine it’s an over priced c class to me.
All the important bits are built by Mercedes though. Aston is just a gloried coach builder.
