I had my first chemo session for breast cancer today and really appreciate all your product tips. To keep my facial skin hydrated I use aloe leaf (store in refrigerator) and rub it all over my face and eventually scalp before bed and leave it on overnight. It's the most natural way to clear up blemishes and keep my skin soft. My radiation oncologist suggested I crack open leaf and rub it on my breast after treatment to better retain moisture and reduce blistering. I'm growing a couple plants so I always have some handy, but you can also purchase at a natural food store like Whole Foods in the produce aisle. One large leaf lasts a couple of months.
You look so pretty if you have lines check into rettin a. It the fountain of youth . It takes a prescription. But a lot of insurance covers it if you have skin problems.it will usually cover it. It came out in the 60s for acne. They discovered it took away lines and wrinkles. Ive been usuing every might i get mine for five dollars a tube from India
Hadn’t really thought of taking skin care items with me to chemo. Luckily I have a good bit of samples I can take because my broke ass won’t be working anytime soon! I start chemo and radiation on Tuesday dec 4. Ugh
I ALWAYS RECOMMEND PRODUCTS WITHOUT PETROLEUM ..........AND WITH LANOLIN....ALSO, USE COTTON GLOVES OR SOCKS ON FEET AND HANDS WHEN SLEEPING TO MOISTURIZE BLISTERING FINGERS
