Harbinger of Dawn is easily the best F2P option for Quickswap Geo MC/Sub DPS. So don't worry too much.
I started playing after the event too, I hate it when people say it’s F2P friendly. I’m trying to build my traveler and I’m stuck with Harbinger of Dawn

Imagine people finding out how traveler can use other elements after pulling for them.
Meanwhile, those that aren't so lucky are stuck with Bennett (he's mc material, you can't convince me otherwise).

@@Alwaysexceptional it's actually kinda good that they dont. you can switch to another character after your burst faster than anyone else, like literally 1 second after. this is helps your overall dps

I use traveler because I hate my friends because I have some really good characters and I just went nah traveler is my main now. That and the lantern rite trailer
gonna build my geo mc so he can become Zhongli's little disciple, I've always wanted to try using them together and now as Zhongli came home I can finally do it

Actrally, when fighting Boreas in the form where he just runs around in a circle and attacks you, you can place a e skill anyway here and climb on top on it. The rock will take damage for you. I discovered this in co-op with friends.
Yeah and the rock will give extra damage to Boreas as soon as he hits it. When I first fought Boreas solo he was very difficult for me with all the other characters I had, this was the moment when I finally started making geo traveller my main, and now I got lumine to level 90.
I wish the mc didn’t need two separate attack talents when it’s the same attack
I think it’s because when u just tap his normal attack multiple times if he had Anemo equipped he slices the air and sends wind flying one direction and then with geo it’s like a rock explosion or something- I don’t know about electro tho cus I don’t usually use it

its a lot easier than most people complain about. Like this video, traveler (both geo and anemo) works wonders in this floor. Geo for block the archers, or Anemo for baiting the shield hilichurl's aggro

11-3 is worse cuz I can’t spam my e like I usually do 11-2 is easy to one shot

I'd say that I like how Mc's burst is affects enemies at a 360° range but I do like how Albedo's burst multiplies if you have his isotoma active. Maybe Mihoyo can buff up geo mc by making his Q shatter the starfell swords upon contact with the Burst crystals

I honestly just slept on Geo Aether, until last night, that is.
I was desperate for primogems to get Zhongli and decided to push the abyss.
I was at abyss 8-3 using Xiao and Fischl as main dps. When I reached abyss 9, I can't go any further.
Only Xiao can clear the floors, then I remembered that I maxed Geo Aether out of sheer excitement before.
I used him, 2 pc. Gladiator and 2 pc. Archaic Petra. Guess what? I reached floor 12, wtf!!!
So I decided to have him as 2nd main dps for abyss. :D
Oh my god that’s amazing! When I unlocked the geo traveler I messed with him a little bit but thought it was stupid lol but after seeing this I finally understand how awesome he is. Thanks!

Recently, I've been using quad Geo comp with Geo Traveller as main DPS. It's just so ridiculous and fun.
As a aether main, this is very useful- i will forever stay loyal to my aether you can't change my mind

I’ve decided to build up the Traveler because once all the regions are out, I could switch their elements and be good to go
but...you know each elements will need different talent books right?

Thank you for helping me build my traveler because he’s an amazing support for my new mono geo team!! Since Albedo’s skill snapshots it will keep the crit rate up that traveler’s burst gives, and will also help my Noelle keep up with the Redhorn Stonethresher’s crit damage scaling.

I’ve started playing around with geo traveler and am loving it. Only got 2 shimenawa and 2 glad on them at the moment but still pulling off 16k E’s and ults with 8k per tick. Since I wanna try to main them, I might try and go with 2 glad 2 archaic with an atk goblet

The Geo Traveler requires a great mindset and creativity to play him rather then a bunch of dumb people spamming the tap E continuously then complaining "THE GEO TRAVELER IS THE WORST GEO UNIT IN THE GAME" like bruh he requires tactics not your usual spam E characters like diluc, xiao and etc. Every geo traveler have no problem with him.

I main him but when I want to farm artifacts in domains and coop I don’t want to use him because I disturb my teammate’s plans by his geo constructs, but he’s really fun

Geo MC is with my Noelle main dps. And I use Lumine as secondary dps and battery for Noelle and resonance. Great strat guide for abyss. Main traveler is is a one of the unpopular 5 star characters and many of them doesnt know the true power of MC

he's pretty damn good as a burst support, but I like archaic petra on him :P cause its pretty easy to proc crystalize and buff the whole team if the other chars have off field abilities so then you can use a harbringer of dawn on him which is better than all of the 4 star weapons with 510 base attack, the alley flash prolly is the one that beats it.. but I'd rather have that on chars like Bennett :P if I actually had it, lol. ( not at high refine for other swords though, but its easy to start building him with it, festering desire has low Q dmg and high E)

So, one way I would buff the geo Traveler is by having the Travelers elemental burst cause the Travelers normal and charged attacks do geo damage similar to how Diluc's elemental burst works. What this means is that the Traveler can make their normal and charged attacks do geo damage without messing with the attacks of other characters. I would make this same change to the anemo Traveler as well. I would make the duration of the buff a 2 or 3 seconds short of the elemental bursts cooldown so you can have a high up time on the effect if you so desire.

You have so many energy recharge from the substats oof *cries in 110% ER*
just use festering desire though on your traveller, has recharge stat on it and provides increased crit rate and atk% damage on your E. Pretty powerful if ypu would ask me. Then for stats atk%, atk%, then crit stats. depending on what you need more. Just remember the 50:100 crit ratio
@@oddpotato4038 my festering desire is equipped by Bennett, and my MC is currently using aquila favonia. I've compared both weapon at lv90 and aquila favonia gives more dmg sooo can't
I have more damage too with Blackcliff longsword,but what i need now is consistence burst damage then physical damage:/
It will give you many advantage if you often use Traveler burst
Energy recharge rate diminishes after about 200% ER. I recommend to not take the ER stat beyond that :)
@@cakephone7893 if consistent physical damage then you will be excited for the electro traveller, I will switch his geo form for his electro when it comes out... but i am worried about his talent books again

Mc geo is actually pretty pog when you have overload team comp
I just wanted to put someone other than Raiden in my flex spot on Itto team, I'm suffering from sucess now, they kill everthinh in less than 1 minute if they even take that long, amazing guide, 10/10.
I'm using the Sacrificial Sword because is more consistent spam two meteor and help Zhongli with the pillar

I gave him 2pc of glad and 2pc of bloodstained cuz I want him to use all elements without changing his artifacts it turns good my E(geo rock) deals 9k and the elemental Burst deals 4k-5k per hit idk if thats good
Have you tried using 4pc Gladiator?
I think it would work better since I'm dealing 15k crit on my E and 5k-8k on my ult.

Theres a lot of preconceived notions on the traveler whenever you see that on anything that’s when you should look really for things that could be used differently

albedo is better with the 3* weapon that gives crit rate and damage :)
Use harbinger on albedo. Its way stronger.

If all else fails, just go with an R5 Traveler's Handy Sword for rapid healing since you get a LOT of energy from the meteorite.

guess I should gear up my traveler better. Her current artifacts are as bad as they come. For 5 star artifacts at least.
Going by how you death with the opponents there, I should probably use an electro and a pyro unit as well, for the overload knockbacks, or something that can do that alone, like Ningguang's e.
As for what I understood from your playthrough: round 1 (the hard half): build all the walls possible with geo MC, to block all the archers. If the walls from the q don't block one, drop meteors in front of them., than go around and get rid of them in order. The axe one seems a bit trickyer to block though, gotta make sure that the knockback skill (either traveler e, or some ombo for overload, or ningguang e, or something similar) is off cd. Perhaps, a freeze combo could also work there, but that'd take up 2 slots in your team, and hence it might be restrictive for many people.
According to your guide, my first team should probably be: geo MC (not as OP as yours, so only for the walls/meteors, not for main dmg), Ningguang (for dmg, knockback, and geo resonance, though her wall also counts into the max 3 geo structure limit, so I might use someone else, and just add Noelle as heal, to get the geo resonance), maybe Ganyu (because she's pretty much my go-to fix for having to go close to opponents, so she can deal with the archers without having to go there at all), and perhaps someone that nac heal, like Diona (unless I picked Noelle instead of Ningguang, if I did, I might just pick up Xinyan or some meelee main dps)
As for my second team, I'd still need some cc, so probably Sucrose, Diluc to get rid of the mobs fast, someone with cryo (if Diona is free, than her, ir not, than Chongyun), in case the cicin mage goes into shield mode, and someone who can heal, like Bennett for example, since him and Diluc would also bring the fire resonance for extra damage.
Very nice guide by the way, easy to understand, and makes that cancer of a stage much easyer to solve. Especially since the new blessing makes us able to nuke stuff quite hard, especially with rangedd characters, like my Ganyu.

I used the Geo Couple Zhongli and Ning, with Electro Aether and Jean...
but since I got the Shogun,
my new team will be Zhongli, Geo Aether, Shogun, Jean ( i never let Jean go, great healer, and a god damn good offense character)
Hash that is annoying when stuff gets on top of it but just because you don’t wanna camp it while you’re aimed at a target doesn’t mean anything there is no auto targeting. It comes down right in front of you every time. If you’re damn piggy it doesn’t target anything it just pops down in front of you so turn to the side, drop it and then turn back and attack or switch characters and go on with your attacking whatever your rotation is, there’s no auto attack found like it. I mean auto target it’s not like a pix at target and drops it on the target. It just drops it right in your face. Whatever way you’re facing that’s where your meteor comes down from Mike Bryant maybe that also is a difference on the consul because I don’t get off circle showing me the AOE area either and maybe that something I don’t have turned on in the settings I have no idea.

I got him with the Geoarmy set. Bump him to 1074 from 875. And the artifacts power when up 200 too. I highly recommend the Geoarmy set.👍👍🥵🥵😎😎❤️🔥❤️🔥💪💪

I had to find this video bc I recently got C6 geo traveler
literally the only reason i main traveler is because i like seeing aether’s braid sway when he moves
Imagine this: Hu Tao, Childe, Zhongli, and Geo Traveler. The entire party gets 22% cc, except Hu Tao who still gets 10%. Then, the entire party gets a constant 15% damage buff. On top of that, the entire party is now indestructible for an eternity. And even if Zhongli's shield broke, guess what your party can't even get knocked if they wanted to. And Childe gets stronger when the enemies are closer together, so Geo Traveler works a bit nicely with that. Then the rock pillar also causes all other constructs to pulse the same geo damage, now causing earthquakes and hearing loss to all enemies in the vicinity. Then the enemies also have a 40% geo res reduction. And the 20% res decrease buff from Zhongli.

What I dont like about geo mc's constructs is that it feels like it obstructs Ningguangs Ult. Am I right?
And the bad hitbox of his ult is a double edge since it can block ai pathing but you also get stuck on it too.
Also, jumping on top of ur own rock can stop most attacks from ur opponent
