Chests do NOT respawn. This is an old video and that is out dated. Some chest spawn in at different levels, making it appear that some respawned

I dont think he mentioned this, but collect literally everything you can. Even if you don't need it or want it right then. If you can, fight every monster. He did mention chests, but make sure you take everything that's in that chest, don't sort through the loot, you have an enourmous inventory. see that flower? Go out of your way to get that damn flower. You'll need it later. Covet sweet flowers like they're the holy grail of food, because you'll need sweet flower and sweet flower products a LOT.
Yesss i always collected everything that was shiny and it really came handy on later quests

Yes! Sweet flower and wheat are the staples that go into a lot I dishes (I am counting sugar and jam requiring recipes too).

@@StoneWitch147 i think it’s perfectly fine to do that but at a certain point you’re gonna wanna pick which people you work best with and power them up the most. this is because you do have limited stuff and it’s really annoying when you have to have a team of strong people for a quest but you only have a ton of lower levels

@@rupkathabanerjee5461 what we mean is that, when you see a place with lots of sources that you'll need, open the map and mark that place so you won't forget it. For example, if you're on a mountain and you see a lot of crystals there, mark that place with ⛏️ on the map. If you do it, you won't forget where you can find crystals when you need them. It's better to use the correct symbol so you can understand what you can find at that place. If you mark a place full of crystals with the 🍀 symbol, it'd be confusing for you. Soo don't use a random symbol while marking, make your job easier.

it will work! since most character color schemes and aesthetics are based off of their visions and the artifacts have similar systems for element bonuses, at least in late game :)

Teams work on elemental reaction, to understand reaction you can enter "G" on your keyboard and info on elemental reactions will show up, i have found that anemo x pyro does good damage. I hope that helps(You can tell a characters element by the sign on the top of their head).

@Haverus Z i got 4 more characters noelle, beidou, barbara, 😎and some dude who’s name starts with X and has blue hair, forgot his name, i recommend saving up the intertwined fate and stuff till you get 10 because then you will probably get a characters (in the get 10 option) also i think you can get barbara at adventure rank 20 but only for a certain amount of time

Mistake Number 69420: It’s okay to not understand everything at first. The game is complicated! Take your time and try not to get too frustrated with artifacts and such. You’ll get there!

For begginers I recommend you main kaeya and electro types for dps. They are also good at dealing with most opponents
i started playing afew weeks ago and in my expirience noelle who is geo honestly does better even if i level up electro types and kaeya the same

Use tall characters like Diluc or Kaeya for dash spams. They dash a wider distance than small characters and use the same amount of stamina.

Already tested this with that daily commission in liyue. Was able to reach the goal point with limited time with kaeya, but failed to do so with a smaller male character.

I just hit AR40 and just learned that leveling your AR too fast is gonna give you a hard time in the end. I leveled from AR35 to 40 just by doing dailies and weeklies. Speed running through quests just levels your AR too fast and when WL increases with a still not strong enough main would give you a bad time. Just play in moderate pace. So much content would be missed out when your too focused on getting stronger. Just stop and smell the flowers once in a while before picking them up. Enjoy the sceneries. Its a beautiful game hands down. Theres a reason the devs put so much effort beautifying the game as they want you to enjoy. Whenever i go chest hunting or materials gathering I always end up looking at the horizon captivated by the games beauty. Keep grinding

I’ve been keeping myself at AR35 for about a year or less now- I have more than enough exp to get to past 40, but I’m refusing to do my world ascension thing until I’m confident in all my characters and stuff

Sometimes when I'm bored and have nothing to do I look at the character stories, artifact/weapon lore and even scavenge through books ive collected and talk to NPCs to see if I can find anything interesting! There's so much lore and story in this game and it can be fun to make up theories about what you think will happen next or whatever else.

Yesss, I always take little strolls, open up chests and climb hills before I get on with the quests
As a new player who tries to make everyone super powerful instead of focusing on one team, this helps a lot. I had to keep running around to collect items to try and ascend all my weapons and characters and it always leaves me with hardly any more materials left, but I always thought it was because I’m under leveled, so hearing that I was actually making a mistake and that I need to focus on one team helps a lot :)

1) Stop sprinting
2) Get benefit from elemental shield
3) Food + Recipes. Use character with bonus when cooking
4) Mark your map properly. Like farming location etc
5) Don't miss chests
6) Know your gear
7) Not spending sigils
8) Don't waste material
Number 1 wasn't merely stop sprinting. It's more like use the dash instead of sprint. (Which I still won't do as I'm not looking to click my mouse buttons like I'm playing a clicker game.) I gotta wonder how well sprint holds up against dash if you have the move speed element bonus.

Two months into Genshin and I am still learning. Great guide, MTashed. :)
At level 50-60 (and beyond) the amount of XP, Mora, etc. needed to level up characters is quite steep. You'll have to kill e.g. 4-5 Electro hypostases just to get enough materials to ascend 1 character. Focusing on like 4 characters and their weapons and talents and artefacts up to level 60+ is more than grindy enough for me (at AR 43 right now). It's such a steep learning curve/resource curve.
I can’t watch these before bed, it makes me want to pick up the game again.

That’s- that’s because Barbara’s basic attacks have the hydro element. Whereas Fishl doesn’t have Electro imbued in her basic attacks. If she did it would have an elemental reaction and take out the abyss mage shield or stun the pyro regisvine much faster.

For the resin, my advice is to not use your fragment resins UNTIL you are at least AR45+ because you would need them to get better artifacts. As for upgrading your team, I suggest focusing on 4 characters first and then another four after because the first half of the Spiral Abyss only uses one party whilst the second half requires you to have another party.
For shield abyss mages, here are some tips:
Pyro> use Hydro.
Hydro> use Cyro and Pyro the shit out of it.
Electro> use Cyro for super conduct.
So far Mora is easy to gain as you do daily quests, story quests, random events, bounty hunts, etc. It's those gems that are super hard. Artifacts are a must so make sure you do your research on which artifacts best suit which character the most.
If you literally take a shot every time you hear literally in this video, you’ll literally get alcohol poisoning and literally will need to get your stomach pumped.

@Mingue Kwak you can unlock Xiangling later for a melee fire character. The game gives majority of the elements for free but wish they gave an extra anemo character for when you head to Liyue

my main problem is being indecisive with who my main team is, especially when I get new characters
I ended up with Rosaria, Noelle, Razor, and Diona, despite getting Aloy (5 star) lmao. They work for me but honestly I’m not sure if I just MADE it work cause I was too far into the game to level anyone else up or if they’re actually good.

What i do is i keep one character of each type, like Noelle since she has the little shield thing, maybe Amber, Sucrose, or Lisa for long distance attacks, Kaeya for ice, and Rosaria mostly for her spear and quick attacks. So i keep one sturdy character as a last resort, Noelle. İ want a Pyro, so either Amber or Diluc. (İ personally don't like the long distance much but they come in handy) i also would want a character of the suggested elements, and i rarely use Lisa since i just use Rosaria, Sayu and Noelle 90% of the time lol but anyways, try to keep at least one Pyro, one Cryo, Noelle, if you have her, and maybe Sayu if the others cover the suggested elements

There's so much to do in Genshin besides fighting. You can explore the map, learn to cook different recipes, collect achievements, collect and read books, furnish your teapot, fish... You can switch the characters in your party not only because of stats but because you want to increase their friendship and unlock their stories...
Different gameplay is NOT a mistake. The devs put all those things there because they WANTED you to enjoy them. It doesn't mean you 'don't play the game seriously' if you don't rush through the game like a shieldwall mitachurl killing everything in its way. The ONLY mistake is to reduce Genshin to a hack and slash game.
I'm at AR35 (for a week now and I intend to keep it like that for another week), I'm gradually upgrading 6 characters, and I have never ran out of mora, resin, or materials, nor did the game turned into a grinding chore. So don't worry, sprint, run, play, and enjoy it the way YOU want. You don't get points for speed, you know.
Literally same. I kept so many characters at lvl. 20 and didn't upgrade shit until now. But I do run out of mora bc liyue has the best goods shop. 😭
If your gonna stay at that level it's fine but if you want to get a character to 80 than you need to focus on only a few characters

The most important part of this game I feel is to take it easy and have fun. It's an open RPG game, reap the advantages it offers . Explore, discover and uncover the mysteries it offers. Solve puzzles, fight enemies, pick up pretty flowers, take in the scenery.
Its not a fight heavy game it's more about the aesthetic and the story. Let the music calm you down and submit yourself to the game when you play. Don't treat it like a chore.
If you want, take time out to peruse the literary works you can find in the library in Mondstadt. Look through the archives and read the stories and folktales. Talk to random people you find on your journeys and acquaint yourself with your surroundings. Or even just take pretty pictures. All up to you as the player :)

7:15 for new players, I recommend saving fragile resin. When I first joined genshin (sep 2020) I used to use my resin all the time, and the 120 resin was a HUUUGE problem. New players, you are lucky with 160 resin. Use it wisely.

You can just go to the Abyss after AR 40 tho, i'm saving my resources to decide what are going to be my top 5 i'm going to decide based on the constelations i get until there.
2 characters is enough actually. I just found out a few days ago that even a naked level 1 character can rip enemy shields in abyss for your maxed out character to kill.
To be honest, this is just too much min maxing and really removes a lot of fun in the game, so only do it if you wanna flex.

My problem is sustain and DPS, sure my cracked lv.60 Razor can tear through his half in a minute, but my other DPS in the other half will literally not have enough DPS to finish at all
I think most of you haven't gotten past floor 4. From floor 5 onwards you need two teams of 4.
Again, focus on a few characters but I'd say focus on 4. Two dps and two support and keep them on two different teams. That way you'll have two good characters on each team and other two can be used for shields and elemental combos.

This open world is beautiful, to me it's important to take time to explore it, i discover so many chests by just chilling and looking for teleporters, material for upgrade my characters, even for statues, actually it's much funnier than just speedrun missions...It's like being a spy sometime, i take the ennemy by surprise ! (If they are stronger than me inch'jesus just spamming every combat button work) The team behind this put so much effort in making genshin impact such a cool and beautiful game, stop running after exp and teasures a bit and climb, swim, explore ! (Thanks to this i gain a lot of time in some missions cuz i already unlocked teleporters near by) (sorry for every mistakes i could have done my english is not really great)

I love all of this except "if you don't focus on one character and upgrade all of them" I love upgrading them cause it feels like they're being left out 😂
Exactly the same as cooking, keep your eyes open for character bonuses in alchemy and blacksmithing. Not 100% sure about the smithing but Lisa definitely gets a bonus when making potions at the alchemy station. Do not underestimate the usefulness of potions.
In smithing, Diluc gets a 15% ore refund, when creating Claymore type weapons, Ganyu has the same for Bows and Zhongli for Polearms.
In Alchemy the really "useful" bonuses in my opinion are the one for Talent, Ascension and Enhancement materials (Albedo, Xingqiu, Eula, Sucrose and Mona have these as their third passive) since Talent and Ascension material is limited because you need Resin to get it and Enhancement material is a lot harder to grind since you need them at a much larger volume especially if you have more then one character in your team who needs that specific kind of material (the variants of the Treasure Hoarder Insignias are a real pain in the ass for me).
I personally never struggled with potions since I used them like 4 times ever.
@@alexanderwang6384 Gotta admit I've kinda drifted away from the game, playing for free and reached a point where I'm not finding the gameplay loops rewarding enough to warrant the grind, but I'll keep that in mind if I go back. Out of all the characters you mention I think I have two. Sucrose and Xingqui. Personally I was finding the higher end potions invaluable for boosting party resistance in the Spiral for instance. Coupling a party boost meal with a potion certainly made some though fights much easier on the rematch for me.

My biggest mistakes :
1. I thought that I'll get new characters just like the way I got Amber, Keaya and Lisa in the beginning.
2. After realising that how I should get characters (literally at AR28) I thought I'll make every character strong. I ended up running off items.
3. I never did a domain nor did I fight any boss as those quests give you artifacts that helps you to ascend characters. And by the time I realised that I was in World 3 with Level 39 characters and Level 45 enemies.
Don't waste primogems on resin. It's hard enough to get them without paying, imagine spending them in anything else than wishes.
Definitely, its so hard to get primogems in the endgame 😔😔✊

A lot of games I’ve played in the past have two things in common: some form of gacha, and something that recharges over time. The thing that recharges over time can always be instantly replenished using some material that’s kinda hard to get and is the main thing you spend on the gacha. Any player that doesn’t plan on spending physical money on these types of games will follow this rule: you spend what you can on the gacha, you wait for everything else. You never spend your materials on something that will be in full stock the next day. If you follow this rule, you will get more of the characters you want, it will just take a little bit longer to get other benefits. (Why are primogems so rare these days tho 😩😫) part of me wants to try and get some of the characters on the banner right now, but there’s this voice in the back of my head saying: “ Zhongli” lol, HELP ME

I get blasted and people make fun of me in the game because i dont know how to build my characters but I don’t like playing seriously I like playing for fun like I like laughing about how dumb I am for drowning or how I can’t beat a stupid slime sometimes cause I forget that I’m using a hydro character against a hydro slime or when I fall off a cliff because I forget to stop or how I only use the artifacts if they are pretty. I don’t get why people get bullied just for playing the game for fun to be honest I think those type of people have no life and don’t know the meaning of letting loose and fun so if you play for fun play for fun and have a fun time doing that ☺️

I mean, there's literally no reason NOT to do so. People give this advice all the time as if time was somehow a limited resource, as if the game will shut down in a few weeks and you only have time until then to play.
In reality, you are free to take your time and upgrade however you want. Just keep in mind that you won't have one strong carry that you can use to clear content with easily early on.
