TIP: you can still use your characters EVEN when their on an expedition. so if you have chongyun or keqing, you can use their ability that reduced time when in a expedition in liyue
and Fischl for Monstadt.

You forgot one important tip: two handed swords are the best for mining. Always have one in your team. I have Noelle because shes also a tank and a healer, one of my favourites with Amber.
Razors elemental attack is good for it too

Bonus tips:
1. Once you've reached liyue harbor, go inside the bank, go up the stairs and open the chest. It'll give you 200k mora
2. In mondstadt, go inside the cathedral, and talk to the nun NPC on the left side, choose the 3rd dialogue option and she'll give you a 4-star artifact
I did the second option and she still gave it to me, incase anyone did that one

I got Diluc last week and I feel kinda bad cause he's this super powerful badass fire dude and all I use him for is mining and smashing open boxes in a cool way
I have him too and I recommend to level up. Trust me this is the best thing you can do.

BIG TIP: For the commission with the hillichurl towers, just teleport, break the towers, and teleport away. It honestly helps because you don't have to fight the big millichurl or big hillichurls or most hillichurls. One time, they didn't even notice me and I got free xp pretty much.

Nah, fight it. U need all the mask or sharp thingis or something and rewards when they die are sometimes actually for upgrading characters like venti uses slime something.

@@rubenquini1331 Depends on how difficult they find the fights though, I'd argue it's better to break the towers first and teleport away if health gets too low.
SUMMARY:
• Mine for anemoculus and geoculus for ar and stamina
• Build parties according to elemental comp
• Ascend one character (preferably 5 star)
• Level up artifacts that scale with characters
• Do expeditions
• Level up and refine weapons
• Level up talents
• Barbatos ratatouille is great for exploration - get recipe now (11:37)
• Use alchemy for higher lvl materials for ascension
• Spend sigils (no other use for them)
• AR leveling up: main quests, commission quests, domains
• Check out "sus" things for hidden quests and chests
• Use boost for short distances for climbing/swimming/sprinting, otherwise don't for long distances
• Use plunging to save from death while gliding
• See random flower, save it bc its ascension material
• Do chests as you see them coming
• Mark down resources
• Make teams for fighting and exploration
• Hoard fragile resin
•Abyss floors are great for materials

Priorities
Use Barbara's healing ability. Switch over to kaeya and use his ice ability. They combine and temporarily freeze ur opponent while healing your team. Also if you combine certain elements u can create a chain of attacks that increase each others damage
very very true.. I'm ar 29, I don't have any 5star characters (f2p pain🥲)... I'm using this combo from like ar23 or smthn.... always works so good... also noell for shield and some other pyro character. This is carrying me for now like very good.
I just started using this combo! It’s amazing I swear because it also gives me primogems because I get achievements for freezing. Its amazing for beginning people.
I main Ayaka and i use Barbara's skill with Ayaka's sprint and world juuust fine :D

Tip: At a certain level, you get a conversation option for Wagner, asking him for tips to fine ores. Wagner will mark spots on your map. The spots have lots of enhancement ores. This will help you a lot!
I'm Adventure rank 25 and I discovered this at Adventure Rank 24 but I'm sure the conversation option was there for a while, when I first saw the option I think it had an exclamation point inside a circle on it.

Another tip from me is “you can teleport while you are flying or swimming to avoid dying”
Hopefully this game doesn't need an exclusive portal just to teleport.. I mean to depart, you just need to click on the map and teleport. Of course you need to unlock them first to arrive at that location 😅 but hey, what a save of time! 😃

Well, dying (as long as I know) just resets your position to where you were before... Teleporting instead of dying would take you even more far away (sry bad english) to that point so, I'd rather die lol

The first time i played this game i didnt know how the teleporters work so basically i walked the entire time. When i got finished defeating Dvalin i had to walk 2000m to Liyue😂

Another tip: be nice to higher rank players who want to enter your world, sometimes they just need something that is no longer available in their world, but other than that you should always welcome thier help, they can help unlock teleport waypoints, help you with bosses and domains, and also give you some advices

@@yc9711 everything, because they don't want to wait sometimes so they go to another world instead, they might need character ascension materials, or want some fish for "the catch" and a lot of other uses
This guide aged surprisingly well after 2 years, BUT there are 2 tips that I find harmful for new players and especially for F2Ps:
16:57 - Keep in mind that Primogems are the most essential resource in the game and it’s really hard to get. It’s also the resource for making wishes, meaning getting new characters or weapons. Spending them on Resin (which regenerates over some time) is really controversial
20:00 - It is true that you should focus on building one or two characters at the same time and sometimes constellations really do worth the effort, but do not deliberately go for them and waste your precious Primogems. Better save them for 5-star characters you want, and while wishing for them, you’ll definitely get constellations for 4-star characters. Also, keep in mind that constellations could be sometimes bad or completely useless (In rare case scenarios harmful, such as C6 Bennet)
Dear new player, I advise you to be mindful about spending your limited resources, and if you want to build your character, better watch recent guides! Also, I would suggest you one really important tip that was not mentioned in this guide: Save your fragile resin for Adventure Rank 45. You’ll start building your characters seriously once you get to AR45, since on this Adventure rank you’re able to get 5-star artifacts from domains.
Tho I'm not a new player technically and have been playing this game aimlessly for almost a year, I'll be the first to say thank you for the advice. Both you & Mtashed have given very useful tips to better how I play and I can finally hope to see some progress. Thank you~

I think if you go to paid ok go for the Resin, but I prefer use the primogems on wishes too. You gonna need repeated characters to unlock constellations so is better go for the wishes, you could get a nice item and is practically mandatory to grow characters.

This is why I hate these kinds of games... You have to postpone building your characters that you start with in order to save resources for the late late game. So you have to play boring crap for hours upon hours just to save precious resources for later. It seems like a lovely game but because of this It's kinda ruined for me. I have been afraid to experiment since start and just saved up on everything and it makes the journey very dull.
I guess these gacha and micro games will be tje norm soon sadly, and I just don't look forward to the experience of not trying things out in the game because of limited resources behind a pay-wall.
If this goes out of hand, gaming experiences will be ruined.

To get to the spiral abyss there are 2 ways:
-1. Use kaeya to make an ice bridge to it
-2. Go to the closest cliff to it. There will be some spirits to follow (if I remember right) and when they go in the correct places a teleport will open. (Like a black hole from space)
im always sweat out when the game music background change to the intense one as fight is coming, especially when trying to sneak around the bosses

Open world rpgs aren’t for everyone.
Him: immediately when you start playing use a map and tick of things for completion as you do them
Me: spends 4 hrs aimlessly wandering, collecting random sparkly things I find on the ground just for fun
Him: get the best attack and weapons, the best characters etc.
Me: has no knowledge of characters outside of the story so far and is doing fine just equipping random items that look cool with 3 stars

The best way to play the game
Pro tip: If u lose stamina while gliding. Dont lunge or press attack immediately. Just free fall for a bit and just before touching the ground, do your lunge. This makes you take literally -0HP. I always do this to reach lower places faster.
incredible how we play the same game in so many different ways. this is why it's best not to watch up too many guides and just breathe your way into the game naturally, figuring out things at your own pace. it really is amazing when you start playing this game for the first time and considering how we're all stuck in a pandemic rn, i think it just helps to play this game as you would animal crossing lol. or at least that's how i prefer it.

23:53 to make an alternative suggestion, one thing you can do is if you know you're over land, instead of doing a lunging attack which still damages you, I recommend you just drop. Turn off your glider and let gravity do the rest. Right before you hit the ground though, deploy the glider again to stop your fall. This works only if you have stamina to spare. That way even if you run out you'll just be feet from the ground and likely not take damage.
I did some testing and found that lunging attacks don’t damage you if you start them at around 70ish meters in the air, so I just turn off the glider, drop to a lower height and then do the attack. Absolutely unharmed.
Make sure you find every anemoculous and every geoculous, and more importantly every chest, NOW. Chests respawn, but it takes time. If you do all of the quests first, and then the chests, there will be a large dormant period where it is hard to get any primos or xp. Do your chests now, and then do your quests so that you can come back to the respawned chests afterward.

Another tip: just play Genshin only to do the daily commissions for now if you’re in college. You have all the time you need to play the game once you’re finished with exams for this Fall semester. Your grades are more important than the game.

dude...thank you this genuinely helped me. i could feel myself losing over to the deep end but this woke me up. i got 20 overdue assignments that are bouta get clapped rn
Basic tip: Save healing food for boss battles. If you are injured and not in the middle of something just teleport to a Shrine of the Seven and you will fully heal and revive in a few seconds. If you used other characters not in your party that are fainted or injured switch them into the party while you are still there and they will heal up as well. You can do the quite a few times before the shrine "drains" of power but it regenerates over time.
These are proven and tested by me:
- When you are flying in a very high place and want to come down very fast, close the glider and open it later when you are near the ground.
- When swimming, start with a normal pace and then tap the sprint button several times (make sure you are not holding it) until you reach the end. Though, it is highly advisable that you make sure that the body of water is not large as the sea or ocean.
- When climbing, try to find a platform where you can stand on for enough time so you could regain stamina again.
Actually, u can just close the glider then left click
Also be wary of how much energy that you currently have before you go into the water. Characters can drown if you do not have enough energy by the time you are trying to get to the other side. Of course there is food that you can also use if you want to, if you have the recipe for then, but the choice ultimately is yours to make.
Biggest tip i have: do NOT listen to people saying who u should main, I main Noelle and even tho people have said to me that she's a horrible character, I am very happy with her and I'm not planning on stopping using her... Do what you want and what YOU think it's cool!
I main Noelle too! She is amazing! I love her fighting technique and the fact that at the same time she heals... She save me so many times, before I had her, I always run out of food 😅

I main Keqing, but Noelle is really useful too. It all depends on play style, if you play her the way she is designed then she's actually pretty good.

People... Enjoy playing Genshin Impact. Don't let it become like a routine or task you HAVE to do. Go out there, to a different amazing world full of people with stories, and enjoy being a traveller. Don't think too much about how many characters you have, how many artifacts they have, how much dps they do. Just enjoy it. There is no wrong way just as there are no bad characters in Genshin. Be the traveller you are.

Then I have to go around saving her as*🙄 Lisa on the other hand Rose to high levels quite faster ... I won most water battles because of her and K guy (cyro guy, never gave attention to his name)
Another tip: there's a quest from the blacksmith from Monstadt that will ask you to go to stormterror's lair (can't remember if it's stone mining) after that, he will mark a good mining area in the map.
Same with liyue

When you're in a domain and your characters are low on hp, stop in a place where there are no monsters and use a character like Barbara to heal them. This may take a while because of cooldowns and might have to be done multiple times per character, but stop for a while and do it anyway. It may guarantee your victory.
Shinobu I find works best for that personally, though u can't get her for free.
This game is so immense, i just reached lvl 30 and thought i did everything but im going back around walking to places instead of teleporting and im realizing i missed a lot, like half the map was unexplored cause i went straight to the teleport things and didnt explore around it, i dont think theres any end to this game lmao

My tip: Climb _everything._ You never know what you might find or see.
i’m not particularly good at the game but this!! genuinely i spent my first days just climbing around mondstadt and finding random chests there. i’ve never played this type of game before so everytime i discovered one i was like ‘no WAYYY’. it’s just a little encouraging to find awesome stuff without having to fight for it

I literally refused to enter the first kingdom and climbed the wall to get inside, there was a chest waiting for me on top of the tower lul
also it made me able to procrastinate on the main quest (the thing that sets it off is under the tower and cannot be avoided if you went through the gate) spent hours looking around the city while finding a lot of chests :V
and there's me who just keep collecting sparkling things that caught my eye and randomly collecting chest that is on sight LMAO

Tip: dont play this game like a job, you'll get brunt out easily.
Best advice. After AR45 the game honestly runs dry. Farm artifacts, talents, ascensions. Then do abyss and what else other than occasional events
Id be so stressed, Im the type who spent 600 hrs in Skyrim foraging. Im a grinder so its np.
@@freedomdiev3353 Lesson from Azur Lane, rushing to end game too quickly and you will get bored quickly. Luckily a new region in Genshin will give you more things to do than new chapter/OPS in AL.

NO, the most important thing to do first, is to open the entire damn map, activate all portals and statues of the seven first!... because it sucks to be lost in the map if these were not opened yet early on... besides moving around places in between quests is waaaaayy easier when all portals are activated... I think @Mtashed forgot mentioning it, but it is really important

You are so right. After i got the quest to talk to Liyue Katherine i was O HELL NO. I exploredthe whole map and unlocked every teleportation point and statue. Now traveling and doing tasks is a breeze

@@NJ-ss5bc you have to finish the Venti quest first to unlock that area, but for the most part Liyue and Monstadh can be unlocked by wondering around activating portals makes life a lot easier after that

Actually Big Tip: Use the statues of the Seven to heal up! Go into the statue's blessing and set it to 100% healing. The statues' heal pool goes up so quickly that you should not waste food between battles
Do the statues have infinite healing? Like can i use them as much as i want cuz it looked like the healing was running out.
@@edgarnello9165 there's a certain amount of healing it can do and replenishes over time, much like resins
@@edgarnello9165 Once you have a healer character, you can forget about the statue and right now, the game gives you a healer for free if you hit AR 20 or so.
It's mostly to just let unlucky or beginner players heal if they run out of food (or to let them save up food for higher levels/dungeons etc.).
I think I only used the statue once or twice, since I got a healer in one of my first rolls (and of course, the usual rule of gacha games, always save up for the full 10 rolls at once).
Without the 2k gems I got out of nowhere in mail (some sort of login event for launch, but I only began playing this week... and the game still sent me the entire backlog of that?)... just from playing I think I got enough for 30 rolls or so, being at rank 24 now.
Well if you do the banner right now you will most likely get barbara and then you wont need heals from it anymore!
honestly yes before i started using barbra regularly those towers were all i used i stopped using food unless i was in a dungeon, and the meter never ran out

As long as you are patient enough. Just use kaeya and his ice ability for infinite bridges across water. His ability recharges just fast enough for you to do this
I'm really glad this game doesn't need you to grind for competitive items etc. Cooking, wandering around, talking to NPCs is also a lot of fun and will keep you busy. + I love the pretty much unlimited inventory. :D

One thing I noticed was lunge attacking actually stops your momentum, so if you’re falling from a great height, wait until you’re relatively close to the ground and then lunge. You’ll take absolutely no damage no matter how far you’ve fallen so long as you initiate the lunge fairly close to the ground

Pro tip: if you run out of stamina while gliding instead of immediately doing the plunge just fall until you’re near the ground then use the plunge attack you’ll have a 100% chance to fall without taking damage 😁😁

Yes! Also when you're almost running out just unable the glider and activate it closer to the ground, so even if you run out of stamina you take no damage

when i'm glinding and i'm running out of stamina, i just stop the glinder and fall down. when i'm near the floor i use the attack button so it's like falling from a very low height and i don't loose any hp

23:50 - Can confirm that there is a high enough altitude that the drop/lunge attack will still kill you. On average, if it takes longer than 30 seconds to get to the ground, that character is going to die.

But for me, I'd rather play the game without learning tips from others. It feels more enjoyable to play since the game is an open world. Learn things yourself is the best way to enjoy this game, not being pressured as what most of the people do in this game.

If you meant the one with spiral abyss, there is a much more easier and quicker way. Just go to the edge of cape oath and there is a puzzle where you need to put all the spirit things in the thing they rest on

When doing the Ley Line Outcrop for exp you can craft Condensed Resin with your Original Resin and some Crystal Cores which will give you EXTRA exp books! Although it is costly to make the Condensed Resin (and you can only carry 5 of them on your person) but it's really great AND you can use them for certain domains too. If you even want to you could take the Fragile Resin, replenish your Original Resin, and make more Condensed Resin (rinse and repeat)!
