I’ve had Land Rover, range rovers most of my driving life. These guys always mess up, you leave the resonators located closest to the tips and remove everything else. That gives you a great sound without being overly loud. Straight piping is not the way on these… delete everything but the resonator tips and I promise the sound will be great.
It's true brother it's true, I removed the original muffler from my car, I put a simple pipe on it and at low RPM it runs slowly but at high RPM it takes off like a rocket.
No. Just straight piping it, makes it sound light and tinny. Not a deep tone as most 5 liter engines with a decent exhaust. Sounded better after the second modification. But still not a pleasant sound. IMHO. 😢
I love his advice!.... it NEEDS Dynomax Race Bullets or Widow Maker to give it a nice DEEP growl and not that hornets nest sound it has now! But nice ride! 🏁🏁
X pipes on those actually make it quieter and have a shit idle. Should have left the second resornator on and taken the rest out. No X pipes. Or buy Range Rover sport rear mufflers which give it a good tone and no drone. I spent so my time on mine getting it to sound right - now sounds like a SVR and no drone. Even went to extent of opening all mufflers and resornator to see what’s inside and seeing what could be done. Straight pipes without x will always sound better on these Just have to add some sort of straight resornator.
The race bullets are the dumbest recommendation. Why? Just straight pipe the thing. Those Dino max race bullets do literally almost nothing. It’s been running for 10 seconds. How can you suggest that already?

Definitely not overrated. I've never even seen one of these on the road, besides maybe once or twice. And of course the guy with a BMW in his profile calls it slow. If ALL cars were built to be the fastest we would all be driving sports cars and supercars.
I mean dude it’s a big suv with a bunch of technology and heavy leather seats and brakes and wheels ect. It does what is supposed to do sound good and give you a comfortable ride while still having that v8 power.

Double X Pipe. In the rears as he mentioned to add DynoMax Race Bullets, or Flowmaster Outlaws, Corsa Extremes, or Borla ATAKS
