I love everything about this - using a packaging piece as a template, the 'blotchy' technique with your sprays, the gorgeous bird in the circle, and then using more packaging for the window. The colours are right up my street too. Thanks Barbara!
Hi Barbara, This turned out so cute! Always love seeing what you are creating. Xo, Julie🌿🪻🌿🌷⚘️🌻🌿
Ooooo lala 😊 what a lovely pocket. Thanks Barbara ❣ ❣
Such fun to watch you make something beautiful out of nothing. Inspired!
This is just beautiful, who would know that a piece of junk mail could inspire this lovely pocket. Thanks for sharing.🇨🇦
Beautiful, and inspiring, pocket. 😊
Barbara Barbara I am so happy to be back and seeing you do your style again. I just love this idea.
The simplicity of this piece is what makes it so gorgeous 🤩.
I've been in a creative funk for over a month now, but I have been making basic envelopes, mini notepads and doing lots of die cutting so at least I'm still producing, even if it's just undecorated 'blank' pieces for my ready made stash. TFS 😺
What a beautiful idea! I will definitely have to put this in my ideas journal. Thanks! Hugs 🤗❤️
Really fun project. I love the fact that you don't waste any of the ink.❤ TFS 😊
Beautiful pocket Barbara, looking forward to you April spread too xx
Gorgeous grungy pocket Barbara! Thankyou for sharing, take care xx
Thank you Barbara. This looked beautiful. I am going to have try this. I always like to reuse everyday things like food packaging.
❤
Barbara from Vienna, Austria you are wonderful!❤❤❤. I so enjoy your videos and channel! You are my inspiration and you keep me on the edge of creativity! I ❤ you more than you know! ❤❤❤
Thank you so much! ❤️
What a great idea to use up scraps and create a one-off pocket!
Hola, me encanta cuando se reciclan cositas que tenemos en nuestro taller y que normalmente caen en el olvido. Precioso bolsillo, precioso trabajo de reciclaje. Un abrazo. 🌼🌻😊
Love this pocket! It's always fun watching you create things!! Carol The Dandelion Patch
Beautiful! I love when I can use junk. It’s fun to see it transform into something beautiful. Love how you used something other then acetate!
The circle would make a beautiful full moon
Very nice video, Barbara! I love how you imitated the packaging, very clever! Your bird prints are lovely also! Have a great weekend! Erica❤
wunderschön, liebe Barbara💗
Lovely pocket...love the oxide colours..
I so look forward to your videos! Love junk journal snacks!
Yay! Thank you! ❤️
Love how the pocket turned out. I really like the wonky stitching. 😊
It's a beautiful pocket dear Barbara. I love this style and the idea with the circle cut out. Great video! Pia
Barbara you are the queen of beautiful splatters! Mine never look so good 😆🦋
love this idea I often look at interesting packaging for my junk joyrnals
What a cute pocket!! Thanks for the inspiration Barbara. Have a lovely day. 😊
Love the window pocket
I love how you transfer trash to treasure 😊 i have many packaging left after i finished a dollar store journal challenge. They can put into good use now since i need to make a journal soon. Thanks for sharing.
Barbara: well done! Carol from California
Love this pocket! Thank you for the inspiration, Barbara. ❤
Love it. Inside I would do a nature theme
Baby girl, before I forget YET AGAIN, I must tell you that you have the most graceful hands on all of RUclips! They're gorgeous!!
I love what you've got here, what you've made. You either show me something new or remind me of a technique I've forgotten about - I want to smush my ink more and use it to push my papers on to - I always love the results!
I've started packing for our move to Indiana - I thought my craft room was a mess before!! 🤦🤦 I'm having to choose a few things that I'll keep out because I cannot NOT create for two months, even tho I know the time will pass before I know it.
Thanks for the creative break, now it's back to work. Hugs angel, MomK 🤗❤️🌵❤️🤗
Aaaaw thank you so much momK! I have my mom to thank for my hands. Good luck packing up! ❤️
You made such a lovely pocket. It makes me want to be by the ocean but in my part of Canada it’s quite far away. 😂 Thanks as always Barbara. 🤗🇨🇦🤗
I also want to be by the ocean! 😊
I shall wave to the Coral sea for both of you & it can send your hellos to it out to your closest ocean 🌊 Hmmmm 🤔 A hello travelling from Australia to your side of the world might be considered the scenic route, but my theory is that all water molecules in our seas & oceans are touching (well, except inland seas but we’ll ignore them for the moment 🤷♀️) so it is all connected 😁
Gefällt mir sehr Barbara 😊
It's Brayed Furlap lol. Such a cool effect on your book page, still gets me every time too lol. My notch punch isn't great compared to the punch board even though it's expensive, I love it. Love the pocket and always love using packaging! Tfs and have a great day 💖💖💖
Awesome!!
I really like it. Makes me think of the beach.😊
I love the way your project turned out. It makes me want to go straight to my craft desk. ❤
Happy Wednesday Barbara, love the pocket . Beautiful 😍❤️😍
That’s a beautiful pocket. Thanks so much for sharing your process!❤
Hello dear Barbara! I love your window pocket and how you transformed the idea from the junk packaging! ❤❤❤ i can't wait to see the background page that you will place it on and what you will put to the window to be seen! 😍😍😍 I'm also excited about your new monthly digitals, i believe they will be awesome with the birds! Regarding the ocean, i can suggest that you and your hubby visit Greece for the summer for vacation! ❤❤❤🏖🏖🏖
Thank you Elena! I have never been to Greece. I’m sure it’s beautiful! ❤️
Fabulous use of packaging! Love it😍❤️🌺
Beautiful!
It is such a simple but beautiful little pocket sweetie ❤ I love it.
Your pocket is going to look great in your planner. Great job!

Such a great piece, love the tip about the end of the book pages when I get little alphabet stamps I'm totally gonna start saving them.
💜💜💜

❤❤❤
Superb..another inspiring Barbara creation..
You make me laugh so! I don't want to find A book: I want YOURS!! Such luck at finding all of those beautiful books at a thrift shop. I try to check at least once a month but often come home empty-handed (or worse, with an armload of fabric!)...
Love this pocket with a window! Do you remember the name of the book these cute birdies come from?? Thanks! Hugs from Missouri.
Thanks! I showed it at the beginning 😊
Love your pocket. Thank you.
Lovely!🤩🤩🤩
Such a great pocket!!! ❤

I love your collection of ephemera birds that you used in this video. Where did you source this collection from?
I showed it in the video. This bird is from a vintage book I found at a Goodwill.
Thanks for sharing! Are you and Luise going to be doing any 5 item swap type videos?
Not sure at this point…
❄️❤️❄️🇨🇦
Do you use a canvas to add water to your distress oxides? I love your pocket! ❤❤
No, I used the Tim Holtz mixed media mat.
