- Cabin crew uniforms in recent years have become iconic and very much represent the face of the airline and its all-important image. Uniforms are studied and tested vigorously to make sure they meet the task at hand, but they also become instantly recognizable. Famous fashion designers are often recruited to create the perfect look. Today, we look at five of the nicest (and most distinctive!) cabin crew uniforms.

1st - Singapore - in this case 'timeless' really applies.
I would include Iberia's newest uniform designed by Teresa Helbig. Historically, the airline had assigned to famous Spanish designers, such as Pertegaz, the task of creating uniforms to represent the state of Iberian style.
prefer the Etihad uniform to the Emirates one. The chocolate and purple is classy and unusual.
I am old enough to recall the revolution in uniforms that began with Braniff's colourful outfits in the 1960s
To clarify the Singapore Girl Sarong Kebaya uniform:
Indigo: Flight Stewardess
Emerald: Leading Stewardess
Ruby: Chief Stewardess
Purple: Inflight Manager
This is also the same colour ranking for the Stewards for their ties
And the same for Singapore dollar notes
Nothing will ever be cooler than Pan Am. Someone needs to buy the image rights and bring it back.
I don’t know if it counts, but my favourite “uniform” is what ANA crew wear when they are conducting their in-flight service. They wear white aprons with either a light blue or pink flower pattern design and it’s so stunning. In terms of actual uniform, I really like the British Airways one, not the flashiest, but that shade of dark blue together with the headwear, is very stylish.
I have no problem with any of those choices. They all look very good to me.

I still think BA look good compared to others. I suggest you go the Heathrow and view Virgin crew. Most are popping out of the uniform is nothing for the larger lady and they look scruffy. But the others on here I agree with.

For me Singapore Airlines are my favorite. They remind me of old world class. The women for me represent the diamonds and the beauty of the country.

Etihad Airways has to be part of the list. Their uniforms are unique especially the blouse, the scarf and the gloves.
Hainan deserved first place. Korean shouldve been number 2 or on this Video. Hawaiian airlines Uniforms are also Nicer than some on here.
I saw my first Emirates FA while walking through an airport in Europe and I’m pretty sure I dropped to a knee and proposed I was so thrown back by how sophisticated and elegant they looked.

they have very cheap unfiroms and mostly copy paste from English troops back in Egypt war, look of the colour resemblance and pillbox hat and that curtain is not even safe on board.

the Oriental style dress is always chic... and with a beautiful woman in it... even better !!
One of the best is Korean Airs uniform designed by gianfranco Ferre
I would include Vietnam Airlines cabin crew uniform, the Áo Dài or long dress has been a stable to Vietnam’s culture for a very long time. It is very recognisable for many people.

I think Virgin Atlantic red uniform is way too too strong. I like the soft colours of the rest. Singapore to me looks the best snd stood the test of time. I would move Singapore to 3rd, emirates in fourth and Thai in 5th. Never flew with Hainan or Oman might give them a try in the future because of this video. Power of advertising.
You forgot about some uniforms like that of RAM (Royal Air Maroc 🇲🇦) Thai Airways (stunning uniform pattern with amazing colors) 🇹🇭 KLM Royal Dutch Airlines 🇳🇱(classy but still new looking blue color) Air France 🇫🇷 (also a great classy look) QANTAS 🇦🇺(Australia’s flag carrier has a super classy but modern looking uniform) and finally Etihad Airways 🇦🇪 or Qatar Airways 🇶🇦 also have great uniforms…
As far as I am aware regarding the Thai Airways dress worn in-flight, I think every single one is unique to that particular flight attendant with all those different shades of purple, pink and some yellow.

I would say you forgot Turkish airlines uniform and the Aero Flot Uniform who are very good beautiful.
Since everyone is entitled to their own opinion, here’s mine: Emirates uniform is significantly overrated and makes their crew look like sacks of potatoes and the hat with veil, makes it harder to look to the right. Qatar’s burgundy is way more classy
I think that TAP Air Portugals uniforms should be on this list, because of its very fashionable look and especially when you see the crew walk through the airport.
I believe that Korean Air should be on the list as well. Its one of the best airline uniforms I have ever seen…
Ryanair and Eurowings! No boring colors and they are both classic but modern. Most uniforms look way worse than FR and EW uniforms in my opinion

Emirates signature cabin crew look with the scarf was not invented and created in 2009. It was when the airline first established in 1985. The uniform has been developed year after year.
the scarf is not even legal on board cause you can hang them with those curtains. Curtains should be banned on board, it is not even safe. Some weird passengers can hurt them and knowing that they only take instagram ladies, they do not know anything about self defence, I am sorry.

Given the recent move by Virgin Atlantic over Crew Uniform Policy, it should be off the list. I can't imagine the future problems that will cause.

I want to include one of the newest Airline, Akasa Air in India, they have a very nice and comfortable uniform. It includes sneakers.

At the end of the day all I want are highly trained, polite and professional people. For me it’s not a fashion show. Practical for working in and being able to deal with emergencies. Most of the things you’ve shown in your top 5 are totally impractical. I have nothing to do with the industry other than fly way too much. Going to upset all you fashion puppets but BA is sharp, sophisticated and practical. Some say bland. I say Saville Row.
Anyone that doesn't allow their male staff to wear skirts!

My favourite uniform has always been the British Airways current uniform, designed by Julien MacDonald. But I do NOT like the new uniform they are replacing it with, which will include - horror horrors! - a drab JUMPSUIT!

@@well-blazeredman6187 This is true. I do work for Emirates myself and the uniform is not fitted, the standard is a semi fitted uniform to respect the culture of the country we work in and countries we fly to. Hope this helps! :-)
I like British Airways and Qatar Airways cabin crew uniforms.
Best abd no doubt best cabin crew is forever and will be both Malaysia airlines and Singapore Airlines as batic uniform next is Emirates they are ok

I agree with most except number one. I think the cabin crew uniform will be more unisex in the coming decade across many airlines. They will be designed more around functionality, comfort, and neutrality. Many airlines are relaxing uniform standards now.
