That's because most are foreigners, most bought their trucks because no one would allow them to drive their equipment. Spandex doesn't care for as long as you are footing the bill they will give you freight

There are some people that can't make it to the restrooms. Sometimes you dont know you even need to go until you get out of the truck, especially the older you get. Its part of getting older and its the job too.
Im retired now and was in construction a ran heavy equipment for most of my career. But i almost wanted to get into over the road trucking and after watching these videos, im glad that i didn't.

Offer free parking at a different space for the * hungry* drivers. Maybe offer * pit stop fuel* areas where only fuel paring is allowed. Any body violating will have bigger credit card bill. How many drivers would love a truck stop that had quick on quick out fuel? Hiring just one person at the pumps to monitor the trucks would help pay the new hires wage by more fuel being sold in a quick manor.👁️👃👁️

I pulled beside a cart thing at a local Giant a little too close. And I asked the lady who was loading her trunk to help me get fixed my car. A few weeks before I had helped another woman back out of a parking spot. Everything was good.
I wonder how these clips are going to look like in the next 4-5 years when we are going to start seeing self driving trucks on the road? Maybe some people might poke fun at them by trying to use their phones as remotes. I can see some others yelling at those companies and maybe do some graffiti on the trucks when they are at a rest stop to refuel it will get interesting in the coming years so we need to be prepared.
For fuel island Parker’s I have a trick I’ve been doing for 20 years. In most truck stops they sell the little 5 packs of superglue. 9 out of 10 times they lock their doors. Simply fill the keyhole with the superglue. If you’re real mad about it glue both locks. At the very least the idiot will have to climb in on the drivers side every time he parks like an ass.
I treat truck stops as fuel stops. I fuel and leave and that is it . I don't spend a my time or my dime in them . They get the boss man's money for the fuel and that's it
How do you find parking in the morning? Most drivers today stop around 5 pm no matter what time zone and they don't start until after 9 am . Now a days it's common to see these steering wheel holders take a 2 hour break not the 30 minutes they shoved down our throats. This new breed think this is like a government job they just want to get paid but not actually do what is required

Another suggestion is have a * pit stop area* for fuel only,fast in fast out. After fuel is in timer allows for quick vehicle inspection and $ gets added to recently used credit card. I was taught to use every opportunity to back in, especially on the Blind, even when there's plenty of room. If one does it all the time, when it's tight, it's easier. Trucking isn't like it used to be. There's very little integrity. I remember the day when someone was out of line, a whole bunch of Truckers approached the individual the person's attitude. Women traveling alone where instructed to use Truck Stops because there is no way in hell Truckers would let someone mess with a Lady. Now, it's no respect, no integrity. That's why I carry my DEWALT drill with an iron bit. Steer tires can really slow someone down when they act like a Jack Ass. My family would place a fresh press on the pants and a shine on the shoes every morning before starting the day. Short or Long Sleeved collared shirt. Now it looks like homeless people have taken over. When I see people using the window cleaner to wash a tractor, I just walk over and kick over the water. And Truckers wonder why the rates are so low.

It seems that all these truckstop problems have something in common. Pilot and loves. Stop going to these places and almost all your problems are solved. I rarely wait for fuel, a shower, I generally don't have to worry about my truck getting smashed, and the people are happy you stopped there. People, there is other places to go besides these two. There fuel discount isn't all you think it is, and look at all the crap you deal with.

It seems that all these truckstop problems have something in common. Pilot and loves. Stop going to these places and almost all your problems are solved. I rarely wait for fuel, a shower, I generally don't have to worry about my truck getting smashed, and the people are happy you stopped there. People, there is other places to go besides these two. There fuel discount isn't all you think it is, and look at all the crap you deal with.

@@tedzing8766 get scale first, see how much play you have and calculate tough 7 lbs per gal of fuel then rescale to make sure your legal. Dont need to scale individually like that on a segmented cat scale
Some people will lower the landing gear to slide the 5th wheel more easily, but I always found a can of high penetration lube works better.
@2:28 if I had to guess that was a trailer swap with the driver in front of him. Not the best place for that but not the craziest thing I have seen on the island.
It’s the truck stops fault! They allow this to happen blocking the fuel islands plain and simple.

All the stuff we see. The dumb stuff. Flip flops, blocking fuel lines and scales, poor backing, hit and runs. How you and all of us try to expose it, shame it etc.. we even try to help and teach if we can.
