Hi! I just had a quick question. How have you connected Reaper to the X32? Does your theater use the dante expansion card? I'm fairly new to sound design, I've been working at my local community theater for about a year now and I have so many questions haha
Hi Gabriela! Great question! You can use a card for the X32 that allows the X32 to function as a 32 channel audio interface. Here is a link to the card -> amzn.to/46lHDLY
I was the "Another Operator" on this show. I was also the lighting designer and you can see me in khaki shorts on stage setting up lights as Nick was recording this. This was my first show using TheatreMix and I have to say it's an impressive piece of software. I've now used it for two shows. The cue editing in this tool is amazing. Cue editing on sound consoles has long been to lacking that I often just mix live theatre manually. @NicholasRadina1 - thanks for all the programming work that allowed me to just step over to the other side of the booth and run the show.
Thank you, Eric!
What stand are you using for your script? I can't find one that I can just buy and have it sitting on the table.
Hi! Thanks for your question! I wish I could pass along some fancy device…but it’s just a piece of wood! I probably stuck something under the binder.
dude! you moving the camera all over the place makes me dizzy! This is NOT how you video record! and it didn't really explain HOW to use this software!
Hi David! Thanks for your comment. Yes, I was quite shaky! Sorry about that! This was just meant to be a quick overview of my first impressions using the software. There are many much better in-depth videos on how to use the software here on youtube I just wanted to spread the love of the software. I hope you gte a chance to check it out -- it's really great!
