I definitely agree with Valentino uomo. When I first blind bought it I hated it and sold it. I smelled it again in Sephora like 2 years later and bought it again now I love it lol

I’ve watched several of your videos, and I seem to like your approach. This video made me subscribe though because you seem have the type of taste and maturity that I am looking for from a reviewer.
I like that you are touching non hype scents or overshadowed offerings from a line, and I dig the honesty with the “didn’t like it at first, but came back and it hit different”. That happens to me as well, and I also like the fact that you cover colognes that don’t have to be beast mode projection.
Personally I like subtlety from time to time, more intimate scents where you surprise someone with something interesting (not shower gel nuclear blast when you walk in). I also wear a lot of colognes for my own liking, which others might not appreciate, but I wear cause I like it. Anyways man I’m talking up a storm here, good video and keep it up, you got a new fan.

I blind bought a bottle of Legend EDP at Nordstrom Rack on a big discount the other day because I was told it smelled like A&F Fierce-which I unironically have always loved, huge nostalgia kick-and I was not disappointed. Great fragrance.
Today, I finally tried Cartier declaration edt (on my skin) and found it very pleasant, versatile and sophisticated. I also noticed how it does remind me of other fragrances like Narciso Rodriguez bleu noir edp and even Terre d'Hermes. They definitely share the same DNA, though, giving different vibes and maybe that can be an interesting thing to discuss in a future video.

Oooh! I've been wanting to sample Pure XS! I'm also curious about Valentino Uomo, but surprisingly the stores don't have them around. I have a bottle of Born in Roma Intense and Born in Roma Yellow Dream, which I can't wait to wear as Christmas approaches to radiate that gingerbread scent and get some more complaints haha

I just go this. I've had Amber Pour Homme for 10 years and love it. This one was not love at first sniff... I got almost like a spicy plasticine smell. But it dried down beautifully and lasted forever.
Ironic video, I purchased MB Legend Intense and Prada Amber Pour Homme Intense both blind buys a few months ago. I couldn't be happier with my selections. Keep up the good work.

I was a fan of MB Legend Intense.. and I would often layer it with Issey Miyake L'eau D'issey Intense
Hermes- Voyage Parfum is a masterpiece. Sadly it is very expensive even on discounters but I will buy it for my own X-Mas present this year. It is understated, yet complex. Not too loud (I dont like massive projection) but still performs well enough and has a very unique profile. I had a tester and loved every minute of the few wearings. It has class and is just so pleasant to wear, like I feel it fits me perfectly.

You can't go wrong with Valentino Uomo. It's smells beautiful on a men as well as On women. I like it on me! That chocolate is delicious! Hermès and Cartier have a lot of underrated gems. The Voyage and Pasha collections are absolutely exquisite. A man wearing them smells rich and interesting. I particularly find Pasha Parfum and the edition Noir absolutely beautiful! Very sexy!❤❤
Oh, I'm SO happy to see Prada Amber Pour Homme on your list! That stuff is absolutely MAGNIFICENT! To me, it smells kinda similar to Barbasol shaving cream (cheap, wonderful stuff), only with the glory and splendor of being done by Prada. God, this this stuff is so good I'm practically panting. Excited to see it get some love!!!!

Montblanc legend edt or edp is a no brainer for mass appealing compliment getter. Pasha de carter noir absolu is something I'd wear by a campfire on a cold night. Its got a burnt brownie type of scent.
Great video. And you are spot on, Noir Absolu could easily be niche. Love the smoke and almost ash with the sweetness. And it lasts. Creed needs to pay attention!

I like Vourger, but two others from Harmes that I just got to smell at their Manhattan store are L'Ombre Des Merveilles and L’Ambre des Merveilles. If you haven't tried these, you should. They are fantastic.

Justin, your voice is truly one of the smoothest in the RUclips frag world. I see you seem to be using a Blue Yeti microphone? In any case it sounds great, specially for how close you speak to the mic, but I wonder why you choose not to use a pop filter? At least in my audio system some pops are noticeable as in @1:00 (B in "brands"), but must specially with the "Pah" sounds as in 1:28 (popular), 1:59 (parfum), 2:49 (pretty), 3:15 (parfum)... Not really such a big deal, but I'd suggest try a pop filter. Might improve still how your great voice sounds in your videos.

Rather have 10ml of Aventus than a bottle of Explorer - or cdnim. Underwhelmed is the word I would use for them both . They’ve got no complexity. That Aventus sample I got a couple of yrs back was phenomenal- I’d pay serious money for a bottle of that, and I’m poor . But is it still worth buying - I don’t know. So many great ones have disappeared.. but when you get one of those vintage gems and you open it up and it’s awesome and it takes you to another place ..honestly, what else really matters 😎
lol...just do your homework . now OG Valentino is still incredible. the Polges both are great. i feel Chanel Allure OG they did is also overlooked. what a masterpiece.
Have to revisit TF noir. Valentino Uomo original has a great opening but I thought the dry down was too sweet/gourmand, I think a revisit is in order. Encre Noir A l' Extreme is in my opinion the best Lalique ever produced, hard to beat. I loved Legend EDT, probably my favorite, didn't know there is an EDP. Honestly Justin when I hear Paco Rabanne I think first of their very first release, I'm talking about their pour homme 1973 release, then I think of XS the original. In my opinion those are their best two releases. Violet is ok, but all this gold bar series doesn't appeal to me at all. I smelled Pasha Noir Absolu and I thought it is very interesting. Prada Amber sounds very intriguing.

I just ordered an older bottle of Valentino uomo, and they sent me the newest reformulation. I heard it doesn’t even smell the same at all. I’m out of town and haven’t even smelled it yet, and don’t think I want to. Extremely disappointed

I will say. I'm a 24 year old man. I have more "mature" taste in fragrances I think. But I do own Uomo Born In Roma Intense and I do wear it very often on dates. Mostly because I think women enjoy that scent in my age bracket. That's the only purpose it serves. It does smell really nice though. It's a great scent to wear on a FIRST date for younger men.
Montblanc legend edp reminds me in the drawdown very much of Platinum Egoiste. :)

Based on the feedback I’ve seen, many people seem to feel differently about the “movie clips”-they are a part of how I express the humor of my personality in a way that keeps people from having to only look at my face in their screen. It’s hard to hold attention spans in today’s world, and visual variety helps.

All of these fragrances are ones I already own in my personal collection, and were not sent to me by the store. So I don’t understand how that makes me a sell out.
