    I used to learn mandarin during high school using the “Kuaile Hanyu” textbooks, but I’ve since thrown them away. I’m looking for a new start on mandarin though so thank you for this video!!

    I have been using Pleco for years however this is my first time hearing about their graded readers! I have always avoided buying them in the past because of the hassle of carrying a bunch of books around and it seemed harder to find versions with traditional characters. I will certainly check out this extra feature soon, 謝謝!

    Thanks! Learning Mandarin through song with RUclipsr Chinese Buddy. Hadn’t thought about that method until a friend who’s a school teacher reminded me that song is how we learned English even when we were in preschool…even as infants.

    首位促进汉语进步的工具居然是书籍而不是小型软件app的。哈哈。我也喜欢书籍,即便书籍在今日的学习环境里显得老套retro。书籍上可以做笔记。我书页上少不了众多笔记或记号。比如声调著名等小记号。好像app上也可以个人化了。即记载你搜索等记录。很遗憾我没有动员这些网络工具。就是不个人化网络互动。我只是网络上提取讯息的。不互动。犹如pleco,Anki那样与软件互动。我虽然还没有,本人年纪又已经不小,我还是打算动用app的来推动汉语学习的到突破性进展。开玩笑,我不相信外语学习的突破现象。只不过我不太可能像青年那样依赖app的。没有,我就是觉得这位年轻人喜欢透过书籍学习汉语有一点点意外。不过,我无意夸大了。当然也是很正常的学习方法。排名最高也没什么大意外。

    I mainly buy books, I bought many character books, grammar books, mangas in Chinese. I try to read more novels now, but it's still pretty hard.

    App for learning how to write do not really help with writing like on paper using a pen/brush
    But it's a good starter... if you wanna loose your time :)) or it might depend actually
    In rest all is good...
    Old school is best & cool & not cheap for me ...
