Paulina was actually mentioned during one of the narrated stories during the main quest. The reason she looked different was because time passed weirdly during the storm. During the mission, she tried to reach the safe zone but only her hand passed the barrier before her body got taken my the storm.
man Matilda gets involved with an astrologist medium, a thieving cat kid and an older Beast character with a complicated relationship with their sister.
This also happens specifically when she puts on that vacation outfit There's only 2 instances where she wears it in a story, and both involve exactly what you said.
Just FYI if Silo plans to use J alot: be wary of any skills that purify debuffs on characters like 6's buff card or Vila's Ult. A big part of J's game plan is to affict as much Burn as possible onto himself, as him burning = him doing more damage; the purify abilities would remove the Burn and therefore reset his damage. Gameplay wise, he's somewhat similar to Semmelweis where you want to balance losing alot of health to do big damage, but not go too far so J doesn't accidently die lol. It's alot of fun at least.
5:35:15 Woah, I never considered that possibility before! I just thought that her mother's disappearance was just a seperate incident. But, it totally makes sense if it's Matilda's mother who is the new orcale or if they got info from her.
I just finished the event yesterday. I love how small scale this story was! As much as I like the grand story buildups I love seeing personal stories so much!
yesss i agree!! it's really nice to just get to know characters better. i liked this event for that, since we got so much banter between j and matilda. so cute!!
I liked this event story a lot. Lots of mystery, lots of hints to the next story, lots of lovable characters. Fallible, but trustworthy. Your reactions add the right amount of spice as usual. Hope it was everything you wanted and more.
That last letter hits even more when you consider that Polly was probably writing that letter after surviving her 1st Storm (she died in the 2nd Storm, as per Hoffman's report in 5.5), meaning she witnessed the Storm take away everyone she loved, including J and the gang. And now, against all odds, the Storm reconstructs the 90's, along with her family... but she doesn't make it back.
They do have a bunch of merch like the standees of the i2s, but unfortunately no diorama and doll sets. Edit: Paulina was mentioned in one of Hoffman's letters in 5.5.
Oh yeah Silo you mentioned that the Foundation are pretty slow to respond which to be honest they could be pretty slow. But I like to bring up that the Foundation don't exactly have a lot of resources and manpower so allocating these things can be quite a problem that's why they have the whole priority thing. This are my guesses though, Foundation could just be incompetent.
Ah there is no Oracle person You misunderstand the sentence The preacher received an Oracle meaning she got a vision of something. Chances are high that Sophia is the Preacher and the Sufferer is 100% Arcana - so they have a way to bring her back Not understanding where you get Matilda got suspended? She just regular asked for vacation time and got it approved. Also Manus women always have such good drip - fashion department is working
ou okay that makes sense re: oracle/preacher/sufferer ksbfjsjs. can't wait for her return!! also the suspension was because that's also how they worded lucy's suspension, by calling it a vacation haha
It’s crazy how this is just a side event with how connected it is with the main story or the introduction of Ms Kimberly, who is also in the next event What I disliked about the story how Lerger made a 180 to become the good guy and everyone trusts him immediately and simply forgets everything that happened before - that he even gets to manage the street after J joins the Foundation. Also found J behavior not likeable majority of the time, especially with his sister.
J's attitude was pretty much common if you ever had younger siblings going to do something dangerous. Not to mention current J is only 18 so when his and polina fight happened he must be even younger and polina being even younger than him. It's like your 15 year old sister is going to join the military, obviously he would oppose after he spent years trying to get her a safe place
im the oldest sibling of 3 and never would catch me punching a whole hole in the door 🚪 because all the stuff he did in the hood was so much safer and better. There would always been the chance that some rival gang would take out their revenge to J on Paulina
@MegaApostel yeah but the whole town was his. It was his own turf, she was much safer with him than a foundation that will send her to a war. Plus he was never part of any trouble making gang, all he and his friends did was keep the town safe. (plus madam hoffman told us how arcanists are much more emotional and humans much more rational. That's where the conflict came)
You know that not every Foundation member is a field agent and their position is only minority in all what you can be there Plus what wars? The only people they are fighting actively are Manus Member and that’s no big difference then turf wars. J doesn’t own the town it’s just his street they live in + surrounding. Lergers gang had much more control of the city and he is prove that being with J isn’t safer then being with the Foundation. J also risked the safety of his people because his ego was to big to ask for help
Madam Hoffman was saying that the circumstances surrounding a person tributes a lot how the person turns out. If a human would get the same treatment like what an Arcanist gets then they too would suffer about being mentally unstable and vice versa

it’s like history repeats itself xD

@@smoke108 To add to this, Paulina was also mentioned in a dialogue with the narrator in chapter 4 as well.
5 hours of silo simping
Im glad Matilda was able to fill the hole in Js heart caused by his conflict with Paulina. Shes a sister figure to himm 🥹

I wish I never played this game... I mean that's a lie but still so much suffering man.

no She got suspended for real ^^
Madam Z then suggested to Lucy to take a vacation after working non stop for 8 years before deciding her next steps
