Her voice gets better and better every time I find another video! She has qualities that put you up there with the best of a bygone era; Ella Fitzgerald, Lena Horn, Billie Holiday. The new video of "The Sea" is just sublime. Wow.
The new video of "The Sea" was the thing that introduced me to Sierra and her music. Last month I was watching a Country Music video show on TV, here in Australia. I loved the video and the song, so I wanted to know more about her. Since then I have been going through all her music videos and I have downloaded her newest album. The more I hear of her music the more I like her!
@@roscoe_t I would not disagree; she's got Ella's precision and Lena's non-chalance, and Billie's other world qualities. The country songs certainly invoke Patsy and Brenda.
She is fantastic, and her Music will live forever, very rarely does an artist come along with that talent, She Should be playing all over the World, and if i were rich enough, i would be more than happy to make that happen!!
I totally love this! Man this girl can sing and has her own unique sound and style. So mature musically. I can't stop listening to her...wow! Great band too!
I concur all over the place with everybody's comments before me. She's putting out this uninhibited energy, it feels so natural, like she's a good friend of yours. Then she sings for you, and lads, she has me writing stuff, professing my LOvE an all, completely smitten, i am, what a talented lady. Thanks for posting this, too, also as well.
3 feel changes and all of them fun! Sierra - why not have a patreon account? You deserve huge tips! BTW, I do a live solo act and am stealing your service bell feature. I have a collection of triangles, old phone bells and brass jars, but It's hard to do accents with them with two hands full of Fender Strat... brilliant solution. Your faithful servant, James
Sweet Sarah it goes without saying your voice is unbelievable I love all your music but just one question when did you get Robert De Niro to play stand up bass ???????????
Her hunt & peck style of guitar playing (if it can be called a "style") is more interesting than the Turtle Queen or King Bag O' Dust man. She just goes ahead and plays the clams and all without flinching or apologizing. Then she sings and all is forgiven. As a performer she is ALWAYS ONNN. Footnote ... no-one ever plays an old-style Gretsch with the Tone Switch in the up position. But she DOES it.
Because they change keys, and he anticipates it. I guess one could say he changes keys a little bit before the rest of them. But it's hip. It bends the ear, and I commend him for it
Fearless. She's got 'it'. I can't wait to see what's next.
I have watched a lot of Sierra's videos and this is absolutely my favorite!!!
I love this song, it's so different Thank you

To me, she starts out sounding stylistically like Patsy Cline and then winds up like Brenda Lee.
@@roscoe_t I would not disagree; she's got Ella's precision and Lena's non-chalance, and Billie's other world qualities. The country songs certainly invoke Patsy and Brenda.
why dosent this vid have millions of views she is Brilliant here she takes you for a thrilling musical ride

She is fantastic, and her Music will live forever, very rarely does an artist come along with that talent, She Should be playing all over the World, and if i were rich enough, i would be more than happy to make that happen!!
Hot dang, someone said it best , she stepped out of a time machine, this is some jacked up jazzy swing. Much love from an old country boy from NC
Like she fell right out of a historic painting.

Hi sierra
Musician magician.
How the fuck does this only have 50k views ..people are missing out
Such an amazingly talented lady 🔥💥❤❤🔥💥
Anybody knows what is the microphone she uses here?!?
Looks like a Blue mic with a custom mount to me
Nope. That’s an Ear Trumpet
@@yateswebb aw yes! Thank you!!
She is one different dudette but wow is she talented.
OLE!
Sweet Sarah it goes without saying your voice is unbelievable I love all your music but just one question when did you get Robert De Niro to play stand up bass ???????????
She's an Appalachian Angel...
Grammy for light Jazz
I don't the box is made that fits Sieirra.. She does her own thing, jazz, bluegrass, country like country hasn't seen in fifty years...
Did the bass player play with Br-549 and/ or Chuck Mead? He looks familiar.

This is her gear...this one.
Sierra can do no wrong . . . right
Could this be any better? I don't see how.
juicy
Gross.
1:50 Deniro on bass
Close but it is Mark Andrew Miller from the Grassy Knoll Band.
I like Deniro on the base
For the first time I heard a hint of Amy Winehouse, but Sierra simply owns originality!
@@pmbbmp I find joy in music, instead of analyzing minutiae.
Where the hell was I at a year ago. Oh yeah that’s right. Lost.
Robert DeNiro moonlighting as double bassist.
Robert De Niro on bass?
No, it's James May's brother
WTF? Obviously it's NOT. Get real. Say something that matters.
nice song
which mic is she using?
Ear Trumpet Labs
Who is the Guy on the Bass?
Is it just me or did that fiddle come out of nowhere for the solo?
Yea, he was trying to steal the spotlight but it stayed on sierra. 😆
Because they change keys, and he anticipates it. I guess one could say he changes keys a little bit before the rest of them. But it's hip. It bends the ear, and I commend him for it
@@codycampbellmusic If by hip you mean jarring, then yes.
